Ezra and I are cuddled on the hospital bed holding our daughter Hope April Fitz, when the door opens me and Ezra just assume it a nurse but boy were we wrong.
"God you look like crap" Mike says and I look up
"Mike your back" I say
"Yeah but only for a month then I'm going to Sudan for a year and a half" Mike says
"When did you get back?" I ask
"10 minutes ago" Mike says
"Did you see mom and dad?" I ask
"Yeah they caught me up on everything oh that reminds Ezra why would you marry my sister look at her barf" Mike says and I throw a pillow at him
"That's Why" Ezra says
"Ok now less talking and let me see my Nice" Mike says and I pass him Hope
"So how is army life?" I ask
"Awesome I found something I love doing and something I'm good at" Mike says
"Where were you last stationed?" I ask
"Afghanistan" Mike replies
"What her name?" Mike asks
"Hope" Ezra and I respond
"It's perfect she truly is Beautiful" Mike says
"Thank you" Ezra says
"So mike what is your relationship life going?" I ask
"Good I mean hard but good" Mike says
"Oh when do you get out?" Mike asks
"Tomorrow morning" I say
"Ok can i take you out for lunch?" Mike asks
"Yeah of course" I say
"Ok we have a lot to catch up on I haven't seen you since you left for college" Mike says
"Yeah" I say and mike leaves
Lunch
"Hi" I say
"Hi" mike says before for hugging me
"So how was college?" Mike asks breaking the ice
"Good I mean I missed Rosewood, you and Mom" I say
"Oh Rosewood really" Mike says
"I mean this is wear I grew up I miss the memories and the people" I say
"Oh" mike says
"How is the military?" I ask
"It's ok I mean I'm only been in on fort base one for training" Mike says and I just nod not knowing what to say
"So how was my little angel last night?" Mike asks
"Good not a lot of crying she is perfect" I say
"Yeah you and Ezra have cute kids" Mike says
"I couldn't ask for a better husband of father" I say
"What can I get you?" The waiter asks
"Triple patty cheese burger extra cheese and a Diet Coke I'm trying to lose weight" Mike says
"Can I have a sweet tea and you house salad with cheese sticks" I say and the waiter walks off
"Ok how is a triple cheeseburger with extra cheese healthy?" I ask
"Because I got a Diet Coke" Mike says
"Oh" I say
"Here is your food" the waiter says
"Well your the only one here" he responds and look around
"Oh" I say and eat my salad and cheese sticks
5 minutes later
"Here is your check" the waiter says and my brother grabs it
"Sir can I have a chili to go please?" I ask
"Sure thing" he says walking back
"Your still hungry?" Mike asks
"No it's for Ezra" I say
Back at home
"Hey" I say
"Hi" Ezra responds
"I got you some chili" I say
"Thank you and this little princess missed her mommy" Ezra says handing me Hope and taking his chili
