Artemis' POV:

I was sitting outside of my cabin when I saw Percy walk out of his cabin. I stood up and quickly made my way over to him, while on my way, I noticed that he had a second gun on his chest and two throwing knives on his shoulders. I raised an eyebrow as I reached him.

"Hey Arty" He said calmly as he flicked his wolf pelt hood down and smiled at me

"I have a few questions for you, first off, why do you have more weapons, second, where were you for the past three hours, three, why do I smell alcohol?" I asked and he smirked

"I can never have enough weapons, I was with a friend as he had some stuff for me, and I do have some rum" he admitted and I narrowed my eyes "Don't worry, I'd never get drunk" he promised and I smiled

"Whatever, there is a party to celebrate the defeat of Kronos tonight on Olympus, you coming?" I asked and he smiled

"If only a beautiful girl decides to be my date then yeah" He said while winking at me and I felt myself blush deeply

"Fine, but don't be so public about it... People might hear" I chastise and he rolls his eyes

"So what if they hear me, it's not like they can outrun me, and I am not bragging, it's a simple fact that they all skip leg day and are unable to keep up" He chuckles and I roll my eyes

"Whatever, so what do you want to do until the party tonight?" I ask and he taps his chin before he smiles

"How about the old classic, how many arrows can the guardian of the hunt dodge?" He says and suddenly an arrow flies out of a bush and Percy leans back causing it to pass over him "It hasn't started yet" He complains and I chuckle

"Sure, it sounds good" I agreed as the hunt walked out of the bushes smiling

"Old rules?" Percy asked and I nodded warily "Excellent"

"Wait, what rules?" Thalia and Bianca asked

"Oh, something that benefits me in the long run" he said before looking at me and winking causing me to blush but also glare

"You have to last longer than last time" I said and he smirked

"Challenge accepted" he declared and I pulled out my bow along with the rest of the hunt causing him to pale "You know, there are more than last time..."

"Exactly, good luck Percy" Zoe said smugly as we started shooting volley after volley at him causing him to duck, dive and jump to avoid being shot

Half an hour later, Percy was panting as he flopped onto the ground. I smirked as I pulled my last arrow out of my quiver, notched it and pointed it at him.

"You lose" I said as I pulled it back and let it fly at him only for him to roll to the side making me curse

"I win" He said half heartedly with a smirk on his face and I scowled

He slowly stood up and looked at the sky before sighing.

"Chaos wants to talk to me about something" he muttered and I nodded "I'll see you at the party, ill be in my formal dress" he says as he smiles at me

"I will be as well" I respond and give him a light kiss on the cheek as a portal opened up in the bushes and he walked into it before it snapped shut

I sighed and sat down on a rock and noticed Amber walk over looking excited. I raised an eyebrow as Amber sat next to me.

"Milady, we need to go shopping for outfit" she said with glee and I sighed
