Percy's POV:

We got off the train in a small town in Denver. I looked at Grover and Annabeth and smiled.

"Let's head over to the diner over there and get something to eat, shall we?" I asked and they both nodded their heads

"Good idea Percy, and while were there we can figure out what to do next" Annabeth said as we walked into the diner and sat down at a table

A waitress walked over and took our orders, I got a cheese burger and some water, Annabeth got a sandwich of some variety, and Grover got a salad. Just as we were about to start eating, a motorcycle parked outside and I felt the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, and my instincts screamed 'DANGER'. I looked toward the door, and saw the biggest body builder in the entire world. He had a lion skin cloak on, a celestial bronze sword on his hip, but other than that he looked like a normal person, just extremely buff. My brain was suddenly kicked into overtime as I noticed him turn toward our table and start walking. However, before I could say anything, Annabeth moved to my side of the table and looked at me with sparkling eyes.

"It's Heracles, the greatest hero in all of Greek Mythology" She whispered in my ear and I nodded

I kept a polite face on, but internally I scowled, for some reason I felt that Heracles didn't deserve the title of 'Greatest Hero in all of Greek Mythology'. Heracles got to our table and sat next to Grover who looked at me like a caged animal. I looked at the minor god and noticed him scanning us as if waiting for something. But, before I could do something, Annabeth spoke up.

"Hello Lord Heracles, what can we do for you?" She said and he looked pleased

"Hello, demigods, I was wondering if you needed any assistance continuing your quest." Heracles said and Annabeth nodded as the waitress walked back over and looked at the god

"Hello sir, may I take your order?" She said

"No, but you can leave us alone" Heracles said as he snapped his fingers and I saw the woman's eyes glaze over before she walked away

"That was rude" I commented which made Heracles turn his attention to me

He just shrugged before he seemingly remembered something. But before he could say anything Annabeth spoke up again.

"Yes, of course lord Heracles. We would love your assistance" Annabeth said in an excited tone

"Well then, I assume you are heading to the underworld correct?" He said and I nodded "Well, I happen to have a ride for you but, I need you to do something for me. You see, I lost my club at a waterpark nearby and I am unable to get it." He finished and I raised an eyebrow

"Why can't you get it? Is the fence too high for you to jump over? Or is the lock too tough to break?" I notice Heracles glare at me with a dangerous glint in his eye

"Watch your mouth kid, I can crush you like a soda can" He said obviously trying to intimidate me "The reason I can't go, is Ares and Aphrodite were there and they asked me to grab something for them, I didn't realize that they planned for me to be put in one of Hephaestus' traps that was set up for them. And, if you help me, I'll tell you something about your mother" He finished and I looked at him with a serious look

"So, if we go to a waterpark, get your club and bring it back, you will give us a free ride to our next destination and you will give me information about my mother?" I ask and Heracles smiles and nods
