Sailing with Pirates

Percy's POV:

'How are we going to get past this? Scylla will take everyone off the ship, she is essentially the kraken, Charybdis is the whirlpool that is like a dentist's worst nightmare' Instinct said

'I say we get everyone below deck, and we hold off Scylla. It won't be just one of us, but both since we need everything to get past this.' I respond to Instinct before Luke waves his hand in my face

"Percy, dude, are you alright? This is the second time you've spaced out on us" Luke said and I look at him "The first time for over a few hours, Clarisse said to just leave you be but since you're the water expert we were wondering what idea you have to get past this." Luke explains and I smirk

"Get the life boats ready, I want all living crew members to evacuate immediately after we pass the whirlpool." I say and Luke looks at me like I'm crazy

"Scylla will just pick us off then" Luke counters and I look at him with mischievous look in my eyes "Not again, Your mad!"

"Thank goodness, If I wasn't this'd probably never work" I say cheekily

"No! Dude, try to solve the problem without killing yourself" Luke protests

"The problem is not the problem" I say still quoting my favorite Pirate "The problem is your attitude about the problem"

"Fine!" Luke says as he turns and walks a few steps but then turns back and looks at me "You better kick some ass though, and make sure you come back to tell me about it" I smile as I pull out my daggers

"I will, now get those life boats ready, and then get below deck until I have Scylla's full furry. Then get everyone off before the ship explodes" I say and Luke nods before he and the skeleton crew quickly follows my orders

'You sure we can pull this off?' Instinct asks and I sigh

'We aren't leaving Arty again, so yes, I am sure we will survive. But we must not hesitate when doing this' I respond and Instinct nods

"Percy! Were good!" I hear Clarisse yell and I nod

'Ready?' I ask and I feel instinct nod

"Let the hunter guide me" I say quietly as the ship lurches forward

As soon as we hit the very outside edge of the whirlpool I hear a faint laughter from the cliff and I notice six hydra like heads objects shoot from the cliff as the Ship was propelled forward by the whirlpool of Charybdis. As soon as one of the heads reached me she tried to clamp onto my leg but I vaulted over her and brought a dagger down on her neck. The dagger opened a small cut in the monster's thick hide and Scylla let out a howl of pain.

Another head charged me but I quickly spun away before dropping to the floor as another head sailed over me.

'How low can you go' Instinct said offhandedly as we worked together to dodge the strikes

I launched from my current position and as I was in the air I noticed a head trying to pry open the door to the ship. I quickly descended and brought my dagger down on the head opening yet another small gash that caused it to pull back. I dived forward to dodge another head as it came barreling towards me. We were about halfway across the outside ring of the Whirlpool when I heard shouting from below.

'Shit, we need to get Scylla's full attention' Instinct said and I had an idea

I sheathed my daggers as I backflipped over another head and summoned Lunar's light.
