It's Good to be Back

Percy's POV:

"No" I heard my mother say and I looked at her and blinked thinking I didn't hear her right

"Wait, what?" I asked confused

"I said no, you are not allowed to swim in the Styx river, you will die" she said seriously and I stared

"Mom, it's the only possible way, the enemy has the curse, so in order to combat it I need it as well" I countered and she looked at me

"You are a walking armory, you have more weapons than Ares, yet you still need this curse?" She asked and I nodded "How bad is it?"

"Well, it makes me invincible except for my mortal point" I explain and she sighs

"Fine, but you better not die, or I'll find a way to bring you back just so I can ground you for the rest of your life!" she threatened and I nodded my head vigorously "Good now get going, I need to explain this to Paul then finish dinner" She finished and Phoenix and I flame traveled out

We re-appeared at the banks of a flowing river that I remembered as the Styx.

"Well, well, well, would you look at what the cat dragged in" I heard a faintly familiar voice say and I turned to see Achilles "Phoenix, good to see you" he said to Phoenix then he turned to me

He looked like he did when I first met him. He was buff and looked dangerous, but in his heel, was an arrow, the one that Apollo apparently guided to kill him.

"Percy?" Achilles asked and I smirked "I thought you were on the isles of the blessed..." he said disbelievingly and I chuckled

"Yes, it's me Percy Achilles Jackson" I responded and his mouth dropped open before he gained a mischievous look in his eye

"So that's why you have been isolating yourself so often... then when your around you mutter something about stupid counterparts" He chuckles and I take a mock offended stance "So Percy, how did you do it?" He asked

"My soul was split up, I am my instincts" I explain and Achilles nods with a smile on his face

"Well, I knew if anyone could escape death it would be you, well, now that I know its you, I don't have to worry, just remember your anchor" He responded as he stood next to Phoenix and I looked at the river

"To avoid cuts and not getting stiches, look out body, this is going to hurt like a bitch" I chanted slightly as I smirked and leapt in with a cannon ball

As soon as I hit the water I felt my skin burning and Delphi leave our mind.

'FUCKING HELL!! THIS BURNS!!!' Instinct shouted in my head but I focused on a point just under my pit, where I knew my armor would protect me

Next thing I knew I saw an image of Chaos flash before my eyes, him trying to pull me out but unable to reach me. Soon that image faded out and was replaced by Zoe and Phoenix trying to hand me a rope.

'Come on Percy!! You need to get out!' I heard the sobbing voice of Zoe as I tried to grab the rope but I lost all will power

Suddenly that image faded and another albite weaker looking image appeared this one of Shadow.

'Come on! I am trying to help you here! But it goes both ways Lunar! Show me that your worthy of my mother's curse! COME ON!!' I heard him say as his image faded but his voice remained trying to encourage me

Suddenly a full-blown image of Artemis sitting on a tree branch sharpening her hunting knives while light shines through just enhancing her beauty. That's when she looked at me and smirked.
