Did I use him? Probably. But I acted upon my emotions. I obviously didn't set out to hurt his feelings, and quite frankly, I didn't really think he had any feelings prior to yesterday.

While I have my laptop here on the bed I type in the name of the girl he mentioned yesterday.

R-e-b-e-c-c-a  W-i –  Rebecca Windsor is suggested by Google, and I hit enter.

Ugh.

She's absolutely gorgeous.

Of course she is, as I mentally roll my eyes.

She is one of those annoyingly beautiful people that make you feel inferior by being in their presence.

Tall?

Check.

Tanned?

Check.

Thin and goddess like?

Check and check.

I start reading more about this brunette beauty and apparently her family owns the Myer chain throughout Australia and her net worth is close to the billions.

Of course he's with an heiress. She's probably brain dead too, to top it off.

I am completely surprised by my vicious thoughts towards this random girl. I don't even know why I feel an instant dislike towards her. I have my suspicions, but choose to ignore them.

"Ava!" my mother calls from downstairs.

Perfect timing. One more photograph of her looking fabulous and I would have probably gone crazy with envy.

"Coming!" I reply, slamming my laptop shut, and bound down the stairs, two at a time.

"The big day is here," my mother comments while holding her cheek out for me to kiss. "How do you feel?"

"Yeah, really good actually," I reply, "Just spoke to Harry on Skype a few minutes ago and he'll meet me when my plane lands."

"You all packed Hollywood?" Brooklyn comes in, surprising Mum and I both, with his sign of interest.

"Um... yeah, almost. Just a few last minute things, but other than that, I'm all ready to go," I answer. "Why? Are you going to miss me?" I ask, pulling a cheesy grin.

"Yeah, like a dog misses fleas...or I'll miss you like a hole in the head," he sarcastically replies.

"And here I was thinking you had matured," I say, pulling him in for an unwilling hug, while he struggles away from me.

"Ew," Marnie comments as she walks into the kitchen. "It's too early in the morning for all this affection."

"You're next," I jokingly threaten.

"So what time is the flight?" Marnie asks, pouring some juice.

"We need to leave in a little over an hour, so we all better get a move on," my mother asks.

Brooklyn snatches the orange juice from Marnie's grasp and takes a sip straight from the bottle.

"You are such an animal," Marnie says while grimacing, repulsed by his actions.

"I am so not going to miss this bickering!" I exclaim excitedly.

I rush upstairs to the bathroom, aiming to get there first so I don't miss out on all of the hot water. I feel so refreshed and I have practically turned our bathroom into a sauna as steam floods out as I open the shower door once finished.
