James Star



Story:
You've never really talked to James.
He was in your highschool
You never spoke and you never really thought much of him
But you lived in the same area, and you'd ride side by side each day to and from school on your bikes.
You'd race to school. 
It was fun. But you still, never thought anything of it.

At first you didn't even know his name. 
You were never in his class.
He was quite shy
One day you finally got to speak
He just looked at his feet and mumbled: So.. I'm James
You: I'm _____
He nodded: i know

You weren't a popular, but you werent a loser either. You had many friends and people liked you. You were friends with a few populars but you werent apart of them

You figured out later that James was often picked on a bit.
he was just always really quiet and didn't really have friends he talked to.
When people called him names he just stared at his feet and didn't try to deny it.
Everyday at lunch he'd spend walking by himself around the school yard until he heard the bell

One day You found him, joined him and you both talked
You told him about your family. You figured out him and his step dad always fought.
You also talked about music
He was into punk
He told you all the bands you liked were junk
You just giggled at him: I've never even heard the song sex pistols play
and then the bell wrang and you went your seprate ways

One afternoon three guys you knew, one of them was your ex, went and picked on him. 
They pushed him in the cement, laughing at him they told him he had no friends
He said he did and looked around
He tried to get up but they pushed him on down
That's when he saw you and called out your name
But you just turned your back and just walked awayy....

After highschool you graduated and went to A good college and got a good job. You were 23, single but happy.

One day you saw James.
He came in and started working with you.
He actually was a little ahead of you with your job.
You didn't know if he remembered you.
But you always regreted that day when you just walked away

You too talked a bit since you were co workers
One day you acutally got into a conversation with him and confronted him about highschool.
TUrns out he remembers you.
You: i was youung and caught in the crowd... I didn't know then what I know now. I was dumb and I was proud and I'm sorry...
He just stared at his feet
You: James, If i could go back and do it again, I'd be someone you could call a friend... Please Please believe that I'm sorry...
He looked up at you with a grin.

He forgave you.
You became friends
And after a few years, you started dating.
You two lived happily ever after...
