Chapter 10 : Joker Game

everything fell silent and only the person's slow clapping echoed throughout the area, it was a guy but his face was covered by a travelling mask. He walked further forwards before speaking

"Now now, who is this taking my little Miyu away from me?"

"Hey who are you and what're ya doing here." Hwoarang spoke up beside me and the strange person walked up to the stage before removing his mask, he looked up at us before speaking.

"Wanna play a game?"

👑 Hwoarang's P.O.V 👑

Who does this guy think he is walking in here like he owns the place then coming to the stage and saying 'wanna play a game'

And how dare he call Miyuki his.

"Miyuki belongs to no one. And we don't-" I began then Miyuki spoke up

"I'll play the game"

I think I mentally facepalmed.

"Fine, I'll tag along to watch" I said with a shrug then the guy walked onto the stage, he brought one of the fold up tables and three fold up chairs from the back then placed the chairs around the table before sitting down at one end, Miyuki sat opposite him and I sat on the side.

"So, what's the name of the game?" Miyuki asked and he brought out a small bag and two playing cards.

What game is there to play with one small bag and two freaking playing cards?!

"Interesting" I heard Miyuki say to herself and I looked back to see Jin and Xiaoyu had disappeared

Jeez guys thanks a lot.

"There'll be a big loss if you lose this game Miyu," the guy began as he held up both cards.

"It's a 50-50 game of chance and here's how it goes, both of us will have a card, either a double sided misprint card," he began holding up a card which had two blank dark blue sides to it

"Or a Joker card" he said holding up a normal joker card.

"We'll put our cards in the bag and shake it then get pretty boy over here to choose a card from the bag, he'll slide it out and flip it over so it shows whether it's the plain card or the joker card, however, if he takes out the joker card and the joker is facing upwards then we put the card back and pick again" he explained and Miyuki noded

I on the other hand had no idea what he was talking about, all I know is I gotta pick a card out of the bag.

Wait did he just call me pretty boy?

"The joker card represents light, the double sided card represents darkness, which will you choose?" He asked and Miyuki smirked.

Scary

"Darkness" she simply said and he hummed

"Do you really want to be on the side of darkness Miyu? Do you really want to be with the bad guys?" He asked leaning forward to rest his elbows on the table, Miyuki thought for a moment before answering him.
