The Maiden of Suzaku

A 9th grader, Yuuki Miaka, with her schoolmate, Yui, visited a library. There, Miaka saw an apparition of a red colored bird. Then, the girls discovered a book called "The Universe of the Four Gods" and began to read it. The book's magical powers transported them. The girls found themselves in an unknown world. There, they came across a man with the character of the ogre on his forehead. Thereafter, Miaka entered a city to look for Yui, who was missing. Again, in a dangerous situation, the man helped her. However, Yui had already been returned to her own world. Miaka was unaware of this.

Tamahome: So, it WAS you.

Tamahome: What're you doing here? This is a very dangerous area.

Miaka: I...I was terrified.

Tamahome: You're safe now, I disposed of them.

Tamahome: It's okay now, so cheer up.

Tamahome: Oh, you were looking for me, weren't you?

Miaka: Yes. Do you know where Yui is?

Tamahome: Yui?

Miaka: You know, the girl that was with me.

Miaka: She followed you, didn't she?
