The Graveyard Shift: part 2

Chapter 2

**Ryan's POV**

"I don't know, ry, Harley is still pretty young."

"She'll be fine, Jenna. She will be backstage with us. I really want to see you guys"

"I'll think about it"

"Ok, well, I have to go to soundcheck. I'll call later"

Jenna and I hung up and I walked into the venue where the guys were starting sound check.

"Is Jenna going to bring Harley?" Ricky asked

"She said she would think about it."

"I'm sure she'll come around"

**Jenna's POV**

"I don't know, Balz. I want to go. I want to see Ryan I want Harley to see him, but what if I lose her?"

"Jenna, she will be fine. Ryan wouldn't let his daughter go somewhere he thought was unsafe. You and I both know he loves Harley more than anything in this whole world. So, go have a great time and see if Jamie wants to go." Balz and I have been discussing this since I hung up with Ryan

"Well, Jamie did say that she was going to see Ricky soon."

"See, go see your man. You'll be fine"

"Well, I guess Harley and I are gonna go. I'm going to stop by Jamie's on the way home"

"Ok, stop by anytime" Balz said hugging me

"I will, and you come by the house anytime. It's just me and Harley"

Balz put Harley in her carseat for me.

"Uncle Balz, can you come to my house soon?" She asked as he buckled her

"Yes, Harley I'll come by really soon ok?"

"Can you bring Aunite Ryan too?"

"When she gets back from her trip I'll bring her over. I promise"

"Pinky?" Harley said holding her tiny pinky up

"Pinky promise" Balz said hooking his pinky in with Harley

I smiled at the sight. Every time Ryan left for a tour he would pinky promise Harley he would come home safe and sound. So, to Harley a pinky promise means serious business.

"Mommy! We're at Uncle Ricky's house!" Harley said as I pulled up to the house

"I know. We're gonna go see Auntie Jamie and Fetser"

"Yay!" Harley said practically running to the front door

"Harley! My favourite girl!" Jamie said hugging her

"Hi Auntie Jamie! Where's Fester?"

Jamie let Fester run around in the front yard, and Harley played with him.

"So, are you going to come see Ricky with me?" Jamie asked

"Yeah, I am. I really miss Ryan"

"Yay!! It'll be a fun girls trip!"

"Yeah, probably the last one before this little guy is born" I said pointing to my stomach

"True, but honestly I can't wait. I just wanna hold him"

"Me too. I feel him kick all the time. I just wish Ryan was here to expirence it with me"

"You'll see him soon. Ricky said Ryan is having as hard of a time as you and Harley"

"Well, good thing I'm going to see him."

Honestly, Ryan didnt even tell me he was feeling this way. Hopefully our trip will help all of us feel better.
