The Graveyard Shift: part 2

Chapter 24

**Jenna's POV**

Harley is at school so Xavier and I are meeting Jamie for lunch

"Have you talked to Ryan lately?" Jamie asked

"Yeah, last night when Harley was having a meltdown"

"It's worse this time than every before, huh?"

"Yeah, it is. Ryan just sounded exhusted when I talked to him last night"

"I don't think he's all that tired. I think he misses you."

"Why? What has Ricky told you?" I asked raising an eyebrow

"What makes you think Ricky told me something?"

I just looked at her with my eyebrow still raised

"Ok, ok, Ricky said Ryan is just having a hard time without you guys, but do you want my opinion?"

"Even if I say no you're gonna tell me" I said laughing

Jamie chuckled and shrugged "true. I think you should go see him by yourself, and before you ask me about the kids I'll take them, and then I'll bring them to a show and all four of us can come back together"

"I don't know Jamie. I don't want you to have to watch the baby and Harley's meltdowns. She's going to be even more upset if she knows I'm with Ryan and she isn't."

"So let's just tell her you're on a business trip, and when I bring her it'll be a nice surprise to see you both." Jamie paused then snapped her fingers "and if you take pictures at the concert it is a business trip since you take pictures for a living"

"I mean I guess I could see what Ryan thinks about it"

"No! Just go! Surprise him!!!"

I laughed "you're more excited about this than I am"

"That's because it's a great plan!!!"

A few days later

"Ryan has no idea right?" I asked Ricky

"To be honest I think I'm the only one who knows" he replied

"Ok, so where's Ryan?"

"He and the rest of the guys are in the bus"

"Well let's go in there"

I followed Ricky into the bus

"Hey guys. I found this outside. Should we keep her?"  Ricky asked pushing me in front of him

"It's a girl? Yeah let's keep her" Vinny said then turned around to see me "oh, it's just Jenna. I guess we have  to keep her"

"Thanks Vin. I love you too" I said sarcastically

"Your boy is in the back with Chris" He said after he hugged me

I nodded and went to the back "Hey guys"

"Hey Jenna" they both said not looking up from the video game they were playing

"Wait! Jenna!? What are you doing here? Where's the kids?" Ryan said coming over to me and kissing me

"Everyone thought I should surprise you, and the kids are with Jamie. She'll be here with them tomorrow."

"I can't believe your actually here. I missed you"

I kissed Ryan and enjoyed finally being with him.

"I don't remember the last time we were alone"

"Well let's make it worth our while" Ryan said smirking
