Last night I have no idea how late I stayed up reorganizing the papers for our project. When I woke up Quinn was laying on the couch with the dead laptop on his chest and papers surrounding him.

I carefully made my way off of the couch and picked up some of the things. I had to be quiet I have no idea when Quinn knocked out and I wouldn't want to wake up him.

I gently picked up the laptop from on top of him and set it on the table.

He moved around but didn't wake up. Carefully I placed a blanket over him which he grabbed and wrapped around himself.

"Late night huh?" Alex said as he came into the room.

"Shhh," I pointed to Quinn. He nodded. "Yea I don't even remember falling asleep. I hope we didn't keep you up."

"Not even close. I was knocked on after I heard you guys talking about layout shit."

"Oh good, so what's your plans today. Anything fun?"

"No. Probably just be here. When is he leaving by the way?"

"Why he could just stay here." I joked.

"I want my couch. My show is on in a few hours."

"Right. Well, I get him to leave in a bit. By the way, are you guys doing anything for Halloween?"

"Are you?" He asked as he took down a bowl from the shelf.

"I asked you first."

"I think there's a party at that one frat house." He dug through the cabinet for some cereal.

"You trust that?"

"Nothing's gonna happen probably. Just drinking and who knows what else."

"Of course you'd say that. You're a guy. Anyways I was thinking if you guys are up for it we could find costumes together."

"Who said we invited you?" I opened my mouth in shock. I don't think he saw since he was getting milk from the fridge.

"Fine, I'll just go ask some other guy if I can come."

"Ok go ahead." He shrugged and grabbed his cereal to take back to his room.

I mean it's not like I wanted him to ask me but I thought it was kinda implied that we could go together as friends. Like a whole group. Even though they're not my best friends in the whole world we get along and had some good times.

I sighed and decided to make myself some food. Waffles sound good right about now. I wonder if Quinn would want any. I'll make him some anyway.

Five waffles later and they were steaming on a nice round plate.

I walked over to Quinn who was still sleeping. Kneeling down next to him, I put my hand on his shoulder and shook him slightly.

"Quinn...Quinn wakes up." I saw his eyebrows furrow together before he opened his eyes slowly. His arm swung back and nearly hit me.

"Watch where you're swinging that thing." His eyes opened and he sat up quickly. I laughed and stood up. "I made you a few waffles if you'd like them." He nodded and yawned.

"Thanks, Lana." He got up and folded the blanket quickly. I showed him the plate on the table and he sat down to eat them. A few minutes later I sat down next to him to join him.

...

"So why are we taking the stairs again?" Quinn asked.

"Because we need exercise"

"We could've taken another way," he complained.

"You'll appreciate every time we get a tiny bit of exercise in." We turned the corner to his door and saw James coming right towards us.

"Oh hey James," I smiled at him.

"Hey, Lana nice to see you again." I heard Quinn mumble something to me but I didn't fully hear it.

"Of course, oh you know Quinn don't you?"

"Yeah," they both said at the same time.

"Oh great then," I laughed. "We should probably get going."

"Yeah me too, here by the way," he handed me a piece of paper. I looked at it and smiled. It was his phone number.

"I'm sorry but I can't take this. Thank you though." I went to hand it back to him.

"Keep it, in case you need it," he smiled and winked at me. I looked down at the ground. He laughed and walked off.

"I won't tell Alex," Quinn said and opened the door to his room. I helped carry in the binders and folders and set them on the table.

"Thanks, Quinn but nothing's going to happen with him." He nodded but looked like he didn't believe me. I couldn't blame him though there was a part of me that wanted to text him.

On my way back to the dorm, I didn't run into anyone else thank god. I think I was more surprised by the scene that was in front of me when I opened the door.

"Oh my god!" I quickly shut my eyes and shut the door. No way I saw what I just saw.

I heard shuffling and muffled voices in the dorm before footsteps came towards the door.

"You can come in now Lana." Alex laughed and buckled his pants up. I peaked my eye inside the room and saw the girl putting her shirt on. I followed him inside carefully. He was shirtless of course.

"Thanks, Rora." She nodded with a smirk on her face.

"Same time next week?" She asked as she fixed her hair as she looked in the reflection of the TV.

"Sure. Your place next time." She laughed and left the dorm.

"I have no words for you. When did she even get here? Quinn and I were gone for 10 minutes."

"I'll mind my business if you mind yours." He grabbed his shirt off the couch and left for his room.
