"Hey Ethan" I greeted as he came down to join the party.

"Hey, Lana what are you doing up so early?" He asked and rubbed his eyes.

"I don't know, here," I pushed the plate of bacon and toast towards him. He grabbed a few pieces. "A few of the guys went to go get more stuff for the party later."

"God I don't know about you but I'm just tired today," Ethan said and laughed.

"Kinda same but once everything starts to pick up more probably won't have as much time to do these sort of things." He agreed and then left soon after to get ready.

A few minutes later Alex came moseying down the stairs just like everyone else.

"Good morning," I gave him a small smile. He just acknowledged me but went straight to the fridge.

"How was Jake?" He asked as he poured himself some orange juice.

"I don't know..."

" I know you didn't do anything, but did he do anything?" He asked and leaned against the counter. I didn't say anything and I think that gave it away.

"Well um, nothing more than he has already done." I tried to cover up my silence when I was thinking about last night and this morning. I looked up at Alex and he looked a little annoyed.

"I can talk to him-"

"Derek is going to if he hasn't already." Alex nodded but I knew the look he was giving and he was still going to talk. I just don't want to come in this whole friend group and ruin things.

As if one cue Jake came back downstairs and Alex was already giving him a not-so-subtle look.

"What's up with your face?" Jake asked Alex. I saw Alex's eyes motion towards me and Jake glanced at me. He just looked like he didn't have a care in the world and continued to get his drink.

"Whatever she was drunk and Derek already gave me a talk." Jake brushed it off and sat next to me. I tensed up and Alex must have noticed too. Quinn happened to come down as well into this tension-filled room. He seemed to know what was going on as soon as he got there.

"Lana, can you help me with something?" Quinn asked. I nodded and quickly got up from my seat. I followed Quinn out and left the kitchen.

Before I got too far away I heard a glass break in the kitchen. I wanted to go back but Quinn had a hold of my hand and he pulled me along.

...
It was pretty calm for the rest of the day. Quinn and I were together while everyone else was doing their thing. I think people started coming around 8 and by 8:30 I could hear the music blasting and people downstairs talking.

Around that time I decided to get ready just so I could blend in. I wouldn't be drinking or anything.
