"Honey, are you ready?" My mom called from downstairs.
"Yeah," I yelled as I zipped up my suitcase. I ran downstairs with everything in my hands.
"Okay let's go then." My mom grabbed the car keys off the table and grabbed her purse.
We went to the car, and I prepared myself for the 9-hour drive ahead. I am sure you are wondering where I am going. Probably not, but I'm telling you anyway.
Well, I am going to college. Oh! I didn't even say my name. My name is Lana. I am currently 19 and I am going to Silverstone college.
My father left my family when I was 7. He said he'd come back, but he never did. He never did bring that milk home.
I do have a brother. His name is Jackson. He is only 11, but he sure does know how to annoy someone to the point of wanting to murder him.
Apparently, I'm getting a roommate. Isn't that great? I don't know if it is a girl or a boy. I kind of want it to be a girl. Nothing against boys, but I feel like if they were to put boys and girls together something might happen.
