When morning came, I woke up to the smell of something. I am not sure what it is but it smells. Well how do I put this...different. I am not positive if it is food or a science experiment. I got out of bed and walked out and the smell hit me harder.

"Woah Alex?" I questioned walking towards the kitchen. I saw him at the stove attempting to cook uh....something?

"Alex, what are you doing?" I asked trying to see what was on the stove.

"Just breakfast." He said and smiled. I slightly smiled back too. I was very unsure about this whole situation.

"Well uh not to be mean, but it seems more like a science experiment than food," I commented and he shrugged.

"Yeah I know I just-" I walked over to him and grabbed the spatula he had in his hand.

"Yeah ok but let me do the cooking for now until you learn to make food and not whatever this is. Thank you for trying though." I said as I poked the object with the spatula. He nodded.

"Ok I was just trying to be nice, but yeah I agree."

"Ok good now first step. Get rid of that." I said pointing to the stuff. After I showed Alex how to properly make a pancake, we started eating the pancakes we had made together. They were very good actually I'm surprised they came out edible. Now I'm not the best at making them, but at least mine are edible. I still love that Alex still tried though. It showed he can be nice and not a dick.

After we ate, I put our plates in the dishwasher and then went to the living room. I heard Alex get up after he finished putting away the pancake mix and all that stuff. He walked into the living room and sat down next to me, but there was enough of a space between us.

"So what are we doing now?" He asked, and I just looked at him.

"I don't know about you, but I am going to just watch TV," I responded reaching for the remote, but Alex grabbed it before I could.

"How about no. Let's go out have fun before school starts." He suggested I shook my head.

"No did you not listen to SpongeBob's song about the indoors being the safest place?" I asked.

"No, I did not." He replied. I gasped.

"How dare you! You must watch. Stay here I will get my phone." I said and got up. I went to my room and got my phone then searched up the song.

"He is a good singer, but let's go outside anyway. I won't let you break anything." Alex reassured. "Just go get clothes on so we can go somewhere. You can be very boring." I gasped at Alex's comment.

"I am NOT boring." I crossed my arms over my chest.

"Well..."

"Oh, I'll show you. I am very exciting." I said and stood up.

"Prove it." Alex challenged.

"I will! I'll be out in ten minutes." I walking to my bedroom and got changed. Nothing fancy just jeans and a t-shirt. I also had a little jacket too in case it was windy or something. I put my hair up in a better bun than before and then grabbed my phone. I walked out of my room and Alex was patiently waiting.

"Finally let's go see how 'fun' you can be," Alex said.

"I am going to be tons of fun. You are going to begging to be with me somewhere again." I boasted as we walked down the hallway.

"I doubt that, but you can try," Alex said as we walked out of our dorm room and towards the elevator.
