"Why couldn't this happen tomorrow?" I mumble in annoyance as I close my tent flap to get dressed

'Out of all the ways to leave he had to vanish into thin air.' I think to myself as I walk back out and stretch.

"Alright Girls, he couldn't have gotten far if he left by foot. Which is likely because Phoenix isn't here and no other god or guardian knows he is here. So, fan out and let's make sure those two don't get killed." I said as I quickly sprinted into the woods and kept my eye out for the massive hoard of Monsters that were currently making Yellowstone their home

5 months later

Percy's POV:

I had dropped Ben and his half-brother John at Camp Half-Blood much to their confusion as I told them I couldn't return yet but they would see me soon enough. I had left half-blood hill and started my trek to my mother's apartment.

"I am so going to be grounded. I just hope the gods took care of Gabe, if not. oh well I can just rip his head off myself" I say as I feel Instinct give me a mental nod

After a few hours of walking I finally reach my mother's apartment door and the sick stench of beer strikes my nose.

"Hey Instinct, you want to help me scare the living hell out of Gabe?" I say quietly and Instinct nods as he shimmers into existence next to me

I smirk as I kick the door open before walking in. There was music playing but it suddenly stopped as I stared at the fat, ugly walrus that was my step-father. What I saw made me internally growl but I just kept the smirk on my face. There were two girls chained to the wall, one looked around my age while the other one looked a few years older. I looked from the girls to the pig and his buddies.

"You know, I was going to kill you quickly. But I guess now I have to kill you brutally" I say as both Instinct and I cracked our knuckles

"HA, like you could do anything to me boy" the Walrus said as he stood up and grabbed the neck of an empty beer bottle and smashed it so he held the jagged glass "I'll take great pleasure in seeing your lifeless body" With that the walrus surged forward much to the girl's horror as they thought I was going to be killed

I just laughed as I drew Lunar Eclipse and instinct disappeared. As soon as the walrus was in striking distance he swung down with his beer bottle but I just stepped into his guard and slashed open a vain in his right arm.

"Huh, so I guess Silver is useful for pretty much anything" I say as the Gabe's buddies all stand up and grab knives and glare at me "Oh so now it's a party. Sweet one second let me make the popcorn" I say sarcastically as Gabe steps back with a smirk as he holds his arm

"Gut him like a fish!" Gabe orders and I roll my eyes

"You want to see a magic trick?" I say and they don't stop charging me "Now you see me" I say as I dodge a sad attempt at harming me by one of the males "Now you don't" as soon as I finish my sentence I cloak and I roll under the legs of a confused male

I cut his Achilles tendons causing him to scream out in pain before falling on his face. I stand up and reappear with a grin that bordered on insanity. That's when I saw the walrus holding a knife to the younger girl's neck and I snapped. I let out a feral snarl as I surged forward toward Gabe. However, two of his buddies blocked my path, I just leapt at one and sunk my daggers into the man's neck before slicing outwards causing a massive blood splatter on my clothes but I paid it no mind as the other male tried to stab me in the back. I parried his attack and slammed one of my daggers into his stomach before twisting it and slashing outwards again. I then stuck my right dagger into the male's shoulder as I slammed my fist into his body and grabbed hold of a bone which I assumed was a floating rib. I quickly yanked it out causing the man to let loose a blood curdling scream as he stumbled backwards but I quickly silenced him by slamming his own floating rib into his temple. I grabbed my dagger out of the male's shoulder and turned to see Gabe about to slit the younger girl's throat.
