Here are a few roles on Broadway I will never play because of my vocal range. Please comment the roles you wish you could play but alas can't!
• Elphaba- Wicked
The iconic wicked witch of the west! Oh how we love her! But I will never play her because her belt is so freaking on point and she can hit those notes in her chest voice! Like I wish please
• Eponine- Les Mis
Same issue. Beautiful, straight up alto. My belt is improving but it will never be up to the Standers of Eponine.
• Heather C. - The Heathers
Heather C is a savage and so is her vocal range. The perfect mix of pop and theatre... yeah nope I'll never be her.
• Angelica- Hamilton
I'm white.
• Sarah- Tanz Der Vampire
Well the obvious... it's in German. But the not so obvious.... Sarah's belt is so beautifully mezzo.... why no soprano?!
• Tracy- Hairspray
For Tracy, looks are a lot to do with this role. So I couldn't ever be her considering what I look like... and the vocal demands for this role are legit.
I have so many others but those are the main ones 😂😂😂😂 love you all
