The sun is in its highest point, humidity and dust envelopes the town of Tinago. It's lunch break when a moment of laughter and giggles scattered the whole school. It is when teachers get together for an hour or two to talk about issues or any random events inside their classroom.
Faight in her usual giddy self-makes fun of her co-teachers.
"alam mo Mariz, bagay kayo ni Ruiz kayo nalang kaya?" Faight teasing Mariz and Ruiz being together
"hello hindi kami talo niyan no! Isa pa may crush yan"
"ha?! Sino bakit di ko alam to?"
"ay nao huli ka na sa balita girl"
"hoy, ano ako nanaman ang topic?" Ruiz entered the scene
"eh kasi tsong, sino yung sinasabi ni Mariz na crush mo aba nagbibinata ka na!"
"hoy!!! wag ka nga baka mamaya marinig ka"
"bakit? Hindi ko nga alam sino crush mo eh, sige na sino na dali dali!!!"
"ahh, Faight"
"ano? Ha? Ako? Hoy Ruiz bakit ako!" Faight childishly beats her friend in his arms" Gagi ka hindi kita type!"
"ARAY! ano ba ang sakit ah! Yun nga kasi oh!"
"sino ba kasi...yon"
Ruiz pout his mouth pointing at someone behind Faight. Baffled she is when she saw Lance standing behind her.
"ahhh...hi! Lance, a...anong ginagawa mo dito?"
Scratching his arms with wandering eyes Lance hesitantly reveals his purpose.
"uhm, naiwan ko yung lunch box ko"
"so???" Faight mockingly asked Lance "anong ibig mong sabihin?"
"yung lunch invite mo"
"pffft, kanina lang ang sungit sung..."
"sige dibale nalang" Lance turned around when Faight stopped him from leaving
"teka lang! To naman kahit kailan ang sungit, sige tara?!" He smirk and nodded let's go
Sitting across Lance who is busy sipping his favorite dish "Balbacua" Faight eyes roamed inside the whole eatery. It is a simple canteen made of wood and bamboo, refreshing place to be at in that time of the day.
"la kang break fast?" She mockingly asked Lance who has eaten a three bowl of rice already
