Wings of Affinity (Werebird x Werewolf)

Chapter 4-My birthday bash

"Olly, you eighteenth birthday is coming soon.I've invited some of our origin friends, I want it to be special for you",my mom announced.

"But mom,here we can't....",my mom interrupted me,"No buts baby...it's new beginning of your life,may be you have some special quality,you have to be revealed; you are werebird, I can't keep you away from sunshine."

"Mom, it's so bad that we won't invite neighbours & invite some others, it is sick", I replied

"It's not sick,it's our life, we'll decide whom to invite !" 

Actually I feared of this celebration ,in such new place,but in core of heart, I rejoiced that I'll meet my werebird friends Victoria, Maria, Lucio, Jose, Dalma, Danielli, Fabio !! in my Amazon days I was so close to them. Rosie aunt is my favourite ,she once told me, I will be Empress  Werebird one day.

Are my songs indicating these? and what did mom point out saying 'You'll be revealed'?? will I show some supernatural power like Rosie aunt? what color will my birthday bring to my life?

Tough questions.....answers are yet to be found.

Eventually my birthday came,and my song started magic again. In the dawn, I was singing without considering consequences....and lo !! the sky became cloudy again !!!! to make me more spell bound raining started ....

I unfurled it to mom...she just smiled & said,"You'll get your answers".It disheartened me.

I was thinking about all these,suddenly I'm flanked by all my werebird friends & relatives !!

There is so much color in their clothes,and it's natural for us to love candy colors. But,now I can't wear the candy colors everyday,I go to High School to say out loud.

Now, here is a detail about my werebird friends with whom I'll enjoy my birthday....

Victoria- our Tori,most friendly person in the world, a scarlet macaw like me.

Maria-Rosie aunt's adopted daughter, a yellow headed Amazon.

Jose-a real jerk, wants to rule the world, a hyacinth macaw.

Lucio- Maria's mate,sun macaw.

Dalma-a specific combination of green & red feather adorns her.

Danielli-cute girl, military macaw, celebration of green,like my sister.

Fabio- soft spoken boy, yellow headed Amazon, my sis Oshea's crush !

And our B'day is celebrated in daylight,so I blew candles, but no cakes are there,we ate fruit pulp, juices,fruit sorbet & so on. Our guardians started their own gossip, fresh like morning,old like time :-/ !!!!

"Let's spend sometime in the woods", Tori suggested,and we all agreed quickly. After all we are children of woods,it's breathless for us to live on houses for long. I'm overjoyed that we all will enjoy ourselves like real free birds, have fun & frolic like them, give joyous oblations to mother nature !! but one thing is obvious, we don't strip in front of everybody before phasing.

So,when we all turned into birds, we met in a pine tree.

"Your feathers are more sparkling today",Maria pampered me & I blushed; we began to song together....amid these songs suddenly I saw Maria and Lucio doing a 'Beak Lock' ! it's very common for bird pairs.

"Hey love birds,it's not you honeymoon",Dalma pinched,they didn't seem to care. I know,any normal people can't understand our speech,it's chirping like other birds,but when I saw some wood collectors and honey collectors going through the jungle, I feared something vicious can occur.

"Now,you have to sing for us,it's your birthday",Danielli pleaded & others flocked in line.But, I understood,Jose shrugged from inside,as if it's the worst thing in the world or a obvious thing he would thwart if had power. His such attitude made me sad.

Though I started to sing,I can't detest my other friends. I saw him sitting still in topmost branch & I choose to ignore.

But amid my song he started to sing some rock very loudly,others tried to protest and he cared a hung ! his throat goes on increasing,we all petrified with fear. As he is strongest among us,we didn't try to baffle him....

Suddenly the sunny sky got flanked by the monster of cloud, the blue sky turned into silvery black....as if the whole nature is waiting for some vandalism.And with dangerous winds storm came eventually.

"Hahaha, see Olivia, I'm more powerful than you,your songs merely bring sun rays and rain,but my song brings storm, I'm destined to be the werebird king !!"......his loud laughter stopped,maddening storm also stopped with it.

"Jose,what are you babbling.Who said Olly is more powerful than you" Lucio scolded.

"How could you  bring the storm" Tori asked....and by stopping her Dalma questioned, "How could you know Olly's songs bring sun rays or rains??"

Jose grinned slightly & smilingly said, "Rosie aunt was telling It to others, I heard it". I am cajoled hearing him. I could'n't know it....though I wished normal things !! 

Of late,everything is crystal clear to me. Jose wants to be the Werebird King, and I'm his only competitor!!

I think I got lost for some moments,when I came back to my senses, I saw Rosie aunt,my mom, Stephen uncle all are standing under the very tree we are sitting.

In grave voice Rosie aunt announced ,"Jose is being sacked from our flock, please Jose go away Now". I found joy & fear in her tone,joy because he won't bother me,fear because he can suffocate my life.

Then she called me in a desolate place & said,"I had a vision,I saw you as future Empress,so you have nothing to worry",saying this she gave me some 'Magic Nuts' for my protection.
