Ok.. what is happening (a Hamilton fanfic)

COMPANY:
The battle of Yorktown. 1781
"Hey, this is where the British gave up!" They all nodded, but they sad smile don their face. "This means that the show is soon over. (An- I made it so that they think it's only one act. But I will add both.don't worry)

LAFAYETTE:
Monsieur Hamilton

HAMILTON:
Monsieur Lafayette

LAFAYETTE:

"Thank you Laf. It really means a lot." Lafayette nodded acknowledging.
HAMILTON:
How you say, no sweat
We're finally on the field. We've had quite a run
They all nodded, well, expect for Jefferson.

LAFAYETTE:
Immigrants:

We get the job done
Suddenly they heard a lot of cheering. "Why are they shouting?" Lafayette asked. The others shrugged but made a mental note to ask you or Lin about it later.

HAMILTON:
So what happens if we win?

LAFAYETTE:
I go back to France
I bring freedom to my people if I'm given the chance
"I need to ask Y/N about that."

HAMILTON:

They all looked very proud at this point.

"Yeah, be sure that all that matters. Isn't it Alex? Not your wife or son but you work." Jefferson said.

"Oh so you're hiding?" No one answered Jefferson . He would just have to wait and see.

It's either that or meet the business end of a bayonet

"What king of word is that mon amie?" Alex shrugged.

And so the American experiment begins

"It was a really good plan." They all nodded.

HAMILTON:

HAMILTON/COMPANY:

"What! You where a spy!?" Jefferson asked/shouted at Mulligan. He looked proudly on forward.

MULLIGAN:

After a week of fighting, a young man in a red coat stands on a parapet
"You think this is when they gave up?" John asked no one in particular.

LAFAYETTE:
We lower our guns as he frantically waves a white handkerchief
"To answer your previous question John. Yes. Yes it is."

MULLIGAN:
And just like that, it's over. We tend to our wounded, we count our dead

LAURENS:
Black and white soldiers wonder alike if this really means freedom
"It did. Well for us at least."

WASHINGTON:

We negotiate the terms of surrender
I see George Washington smile
They all smile. "Y/N looks so proud where she's standing. Like she actually won the war with us." John noted.
We escort their men out of Yorktown
They stagger home single file
Tens of thousands of people flood the streets
"Why screams? Like are they mad?" Jefferson asked.
There are screams and church bells ringing
And as our fallen foes retreat
I hear the drinking song they're singing...
