A Harmless Bet

**Lailah's POV**

"Where did you go last night?"

I looked up from my book into the eyes of Anthony who was staring down at me with a pissed expression

"um ..." I paused placing my book down on the cafeteria table " I was tired, I went back to the dorm"

"Tired?" He questioned

"Yeah" I nodded "I was looking to find you guys in the crowd of dancers but I just couldn't deal so I figured you guys would be alright without me"

"Right" He sighed taking the seat opposite me and burying his face in his hands, I wasn't really sure he believed me or not but he didn't seem to be in a mood to push me

"Are you alright?" I asked "Did something happen last night?"

"No, I'm fine" He shrugged looking up at me "Just kind of Exhausted you know, from the whole Royal Vampire thing"

At the mention of Royal Vampires my whole body goes stiff, I guess I thought if I run from them (more specifically him) I wouldn't have to ever think about it, I just hope I never see him again. "Tell me about it" I muttered to Anthony although I'm not sure he heard me

"Where's Colette and William?" He asked me "Davie, you seen them?"

I shrugged "Last time I sore Colette was at our Dorm, but that was at least an hour ago. And Davie texted me a few minutes ago about a book he found in the library so he's probably there"

"Hm interesting" Anthony smirked

I narrowed my eyes on him "What?"

"Let's just say Colette and William have been getting awfully close lately" He smiled playfully

"Oh" I said "why did something happen last night after all?"

"Well possibly, I wouldn't know though you'd have to ask them" He chuckled

I gave him a disapproving look at how much he's enjoying this "we should respect the privacy Anthony"

"Sure" Anthony snorted "as if you could"

"I could!" I exclaimed

"Bet on it then" He said raising an eyebrow at me in a way that was saying I couldn't

"Bet on what?"

"I'll give you £20, if you don't ask Colette and William about what happened at the Ball" Anthony grinned cockily knowing how much I like the gossip

"And what if I don't?" I said folding arms in defense

"Then you do anything I want Babe"He wiggled his eyes brows at me and I wanted to throw up

"Fine!" I caved in "But I'm going to win this, just so you know to crack open your piggyback in preparation"

"I'll be asking them by the end of the weekend just so YOU know" He smirked

"Pfft" I shrugged unfazed by his fighting talk, because I forgot to tell him one little thing I NEVER lose a bet.

"Now I'm afraid."

"Good."

"I'm only afraid of losing you, I feel like you're gonna disappear."

"You don't know how long I've waited for you.

And so the lion fell in love with the lamb."

"What a stupid lamb."

"What a sick, masochistic lion."

I sighed hitting pause on my laptop, feeling stupid for watching such a Clichè and totally unrealistic movie. Maybe that's why it's one of my favorite Movies, no one likes the true realty of what Vampires really are. None of them good, none of them human ...

I looked up at Colette lying on the top bunk asleep. I frowned wishing I could tell her about what really happened at the Ball, but the problem is if I talk to someone about it I'm finally admitting it really happened to myself and I'm not ready for that.

I turned back to my laptop and minimized Edward's and Bella's face to check on how our blog is coming along, and I'm shocked to find our sudden growth in reads and likes. I smiled scrolling though the comments of are latest post which was just simply called 'The Ball' everyone was really liking the Blog post.

Farrah W.R- Kinda makes me want to go to a Vampire school ...

I replied with

- you might not think the same after our Blood 'donation' blog tomorrow... :(

As I was logging of our blog page It actually sunk in that yes tomorrow I would have to donate a pint of blood to this stupid school ...
