Chapter Eighty: Struggle

"Okay. So kumpadre ano ng takbo ng imbestigasyon?"

"As of  now kumpadre, Richard wala pa ring lead kung sino ang utak nito. Wala din kaming mahanap na testigo na andun nung nangyari ang insidente kaya nahihirapan kami."

"Pero Ninong maski isang evidence wala man lang ba?"

"Magaling ang gumawa nito, sinigurado niya talagang walang ibang makakita at mukang matagal na niyang inaabangan si Rachel at nung pagkakataon na yun ay siniwerte siya."

"Malaman ko lang kung sino ang gumawa nito mapapatay ko talaga."

"Richard yan ang wag mong gagawin ang ilagay sa kamay mo ang batas. Pwede kang makulong sa gagawin mo. Isipin mo ang kambal." Roberto says.

"Pero dad when i saw Juliana on that situation parang dinudurog ang puso ko sa galit."

"Alam ko ang pakiramdam anak pero hayaan mong ang hustisya ang humusga."

"Speaking of your daughter, gusto sana namin siyang makausap to get some information about the kidnappers."

"No Ninong. Hindi pa niya kaya, ayokong sobrang matrauma si Juliana dahil sa pangyayaring to. As her psychologist says she's still in state of shock at pwede pa rin siyang multuhin ng mga pangyayari sa mga susunod pang araw kaya sorry ninong pero di na muna ako papayag."

"I understand."

They got interrupted when they heard a scream coming from a women.

"What happen to my Rachel?" It was Susan. Richard asked Andrea and Mark to pick her up at Davao as the incidence happens. "Where is she? Have you find her?"

"Tita, we're doing our best to find her. I promise she'll be here."

"Don't promise. Do it!" Susan says as she is sobbing. Andrea hug her for comfort.

"Andrea, pwedeng pakidala na lang muna si Tita sa guest room she needs to rest first kagagaling niyo lang sa byahe."

"Okay." Andrea and Susan went to the guest room so the old women can take her rest.

As they start again his phone rings.

"Excuse me gentleman i need to answer this." He walk far from them and answered it.

"Hello...who is this?...what do you need...really..okay, i'll be there...bye." He ended the call and return to them.

"Dad, ninong kailangan ko lang umalis."

"Teka san ka pupunta at sino ba ang tumawag sayo?"

"Kaibigan lang. Kailangan ko lang makipagkita."

"Richard as i told you wag mong ilalagay sa kamay mo ang hustisya."

"I know Ninong." After he says that he went straight of her car and drive it as fast as he can.

After an hour he reached the meeting place where the caller said to him. Until he find his searching for.

"Ano ang nalalaman mo?" He asked as he seated in front.

"Kinuha niya si Rachel."

"Bakit mo alam?"

"I heard him. He hired a gunman to get her."

"And why you didn't stop him?"

"I tried but he didn't listen."

"And you want me to believe that?"

"Yes you should."

"Where is she?"
