As the two females bickered, well, more like the lolita model screamed and cried, childishly, while being ignored. A pale hand reached out and took the cupcake. The black-haired and eyed male happily ate the cake while looking at this unknown, chocolate tone woman. He had seen her at Yagami's house before. She had came over to help Sayu study while Light was away. At first, L thought the girl was just Sayu's friend or tutor. Now Ryuzaki knew that this information was wrong or at least partly wrong.

"Just stay away from my Light-Kun!" Misa said, her words were ignored. The multicolored eyed girl was to busy teasing her old friend by comparing him to the taller, paler complected man. "Why can't you be more like him?" Lee says while gesturing to Ryuga.

"You know I don't like sweets" the reply came quickly from the groomed male. However, it didn't matter much as he too was ignored by the redhead, who continued to talk.

Of course, Light tried to get her attention. Which only added to both his and his girlfriend's frustration. "I shouldn't have to hold him down *"Ko...* straddle his waist, *Neko..."* press my warm body against his. *Blushing deeply Yagami yelled, "KONEKO!"* And force my sweet nectar down his throat." 

*"Do you have to make everything sexual!"* Normally this slightly older teen would be calm, cool, and collected, it's clear to see that was not the case when a certain kitten was around.

"That's an interesting way to eat cake," said the man clad in white and blue with no shoes. While the tiny blonde groans and whines about her beloved not paying attention. Before being pulled away to finish working by some unknown older female.

Light mumbles, "damn tease." Just then another voice could be heard, overshadowing the honey-eyed male's. "You would never have to force me to eat your cake. I'd gladly take it. In fact, I'd like to have another taste right now."

Smirking as she looks to her tan skin friend, with brown hair, as Lee did hear what was said. "Yes Moon-Kun, it's what I do. Also.... *turning those multicolored orbs back towards Ryuga* what, if I wanted to?" Cheeky was the grin that was held on cocoa complected features. Thinking seriously for a moment the coal-colored hues boy says. "If it's placed in front of me. I'll devour it." This caused the shorter gold, silver, and blue-eyed girl to smirk even more. "Oh, I like you! I can tell you and I will be great friends. I'm Zia, but my friends call me Koneko."

"I'm Hideki Ryuga. Want to get some cake with me from the cafeteria? I'm kind of craving shortcake right now."

"No, the cake there sucks. I'll show you a way better place to get cakes." For a moment the pale male with deep dark circles under his eyes took in this strange girl's offer. As L had stated to Light before, as long as it didn't kill him, college is a lot of fun. Besides only one person there knew of him being L.

"Please lead the way then, oh and call me Ryuzaki." With that, the pair walked off leaving Light alone. Things had just gotten more interesting for the light brown hair and eyed man. His rival and best friend seem to be hitting it off. Even though they had just met. How could this be happening right now? Why wasn't the feline based female trying to maul Ryuzaki or Misa for waking her up? 

Yes, the young woman had just ripped into his milk chocolate irises 'girlfriend' without the female catching on until it was too late. And she had teased him, both were normal behavior for Zia, but not being so friendly to a stranger. Had L met with the girl before? If so Light was more then sure his friend would have said something. The female was a loyalist after all. Even if she didn't care for Kira. The ginger cared for him, so that would be enough for now.
