The Perfect Princess ~ Chapter 18

Ross POV

Charl has her head resting softly on my head and her fingers firmly interlocked with mine.

She was absolutely amazing at singing.

The way she got over her stage fright and put her heart into every word.

When she jumped into my arms I never wanted to let her go,I wanted to kiss her and ask her to be my girlfriend.

But my family got in the way.... Again...

I am so proud of her.

I just wish I could of told her that at the time.

"Charl,you sang amazingly and I'm so happy your coming on tour with us!" I said happily

"Mhmm thanks" Is all Charl replies

Gosh,what's up with her?

She's been quiet for like the whole day.

There must be something on her mind...

"Is something bothering you Charl?" I said slowly "Your kinda quiet"

"Just thinking" Charl said quickly

"About what?" I enquired

"Oh it's nothing really,just a silly question"

"Who do you need to ask the question to?"

"You..."

Me?

What could she possibly want to ask me?

"Umm,well ask away..." I said uncertain of what she was about to ask

"Ross,am I really your princess? You said that I was to that little girl and it sounded like you meant it so,so much."

What,did she seriously just ask me that?

"Charl" I began "Of course I meant it,your the best thing in my life at the moment. I'd give it all away in a heartbeat if I couldn't be with you. Your perfect in every single way. You mean the world to me. You will always be my one and only princess" I finished by kissing her softly on the forehead

"Thank you. Right back at ya!" Charl giggled

"Wait,I'm not a girl I can't be a princess"

"Ok,your my perfect prince then"

"Why thank you my lady!"

"No problemo sir!"

Charl stops talking for a while, I think she's asleep.

"Ross,will you sing for me? I can't get to sleep" Charl whispered

"All of this sucks,if I can't be with you!" I started to softly sing

Soon if I can't be with you turned into a lullaby for Charl and she fell asleep in my arms.

I kiss her softly on the lips and say "Goodnight Princess. I love you"

Then I drifted off to the land of sleep.
