How Neat! Her Name's Kara too!

"Where are we going?" 

"It's a surprise! Gosh how many times do I need to shush you?"

"Kara! You are really annoying with this... Just give me a hint. Please?"

"You're gonna love it." I smiled

"We've been on the road for about 3 hours now. We are in a different state!" Cameron groaned

"Go to sleep." I laughed and nudged him

I turned up my music by a little and focused my attention on the road. It was my best friend Cameron's birthday today and I was surprising him by taking him to see his favorite band, The Kinks. 

He has been complaining for the past 3 years that he hasn't seen them live and that he'll die if he didn't see them. You know, being a drama queen!

"Cause I'm real. The way you walk, the way you move, the way you talk. Cause I'm real." I sang 

"WAKEY WAKEY! EGGS AND BAKEY!!" I shout to him

"You gotta stop doing that!" Cameron groaned

"Well my amazing bestest best friend! We are here!" I beam and spread my arms out

"You brought me to a concert?" Cam raised an eyebrow

"Yes sir. Oh it's gonna be epic!!" I squeal with excitement 

"Please tell me you didn't bring me to a 5 Seconds Of Summer concert again." Cameron face palmed

"No you dope! That's next month." I laughed

"Then who are we seeing??"

"You'll find out sooner rather than later. Now get out and grab the bag please."

Cameron shrugged his shoulders but obliged to what I said. He grabbed the bag from the backseat, while I grabbed my tiny bookbag and made sure I had everything.

"Are you ready for an amazing night??" I asked 

"Yeah. I mean any night with you is amazing." He smiled 

"Oh..." I blushed and looked down

"Well! let's go!"

I laughed and grabbed Cam's hand and dragged him towards the line. I was sooo looking forward to his reaction. I began to record our adventure when we got to the line.

"So we are at a surprise concert for this guy right here. He's finally 24 years old and he has no idea who we are gonna see. Hopefully no one spoils the surprise. But here he is." I point the phone towards him and smile.

"Hello future me. I hope when we look back at this everything you wanted to happen tonight did, and that you had fun. If not, well oh well." He laughed after I punched his arm

"Well I hope you have fun today- Oh look! The lines starting to move!!!" I squeal

"Everyone stay in a single filed line and wait your turn! The concert will begin in about an hour and a half." 

*Skip to the part where they are inside and looking for their seats*

"Alright! Let's do this!" Cameron shouted getting excited himself

*Promos for The Kinks come up on the monitors and stuff*

"No way! NO FUCKING WAY ANNABETH! Did you really bring me to The Kinks?!" Cameron fangirled

I nodded smiling

"Oh my gosh!!" He shouted and hugged me

"I know how much you wanted to see them and they are here. On your birthday so I bought them." I blushed
