Me: everything alright??
He hasn't replied.
It's been a week.
Even if he just texted and said I'm sorry, I have things going on, that would be fine. I feel like I'm just left in cold air with no explanation.
The worst part is, is that I've been checking my phone way more then I want to. I hate that he has this effect over me.
"How's you and Harry?" Adam asks as he sits beside me on my bed.
"I don't know." I murmur.
"You don't know?" He laughs.
"Yeah." I bite my lip.
"What's wrong with you guys?"
"We were supposed to go bowling, but he texted me saying rain check? I asked if everything was alright and he hasn't replied."
"How long has it been?"
"A week." His face scrunches. "And it says read." Adam closes his eyes and huffs.
"He probably has a good reason."
"Uhuh." I lay back.
"Are you upset?" I look at my friend.
"I'm just confused. But, nothing good happens to me, so I had it coming." I huff.
"Just wait, he'll text."
"Uhuh. It's probably all a joke anyways."
"What is?"
"Us. He probably got dared to hangout with me and now date me."
"Why are you talking like this now?"
"Because why else would we leave me on read and not text me in a week? He's done it a bunch of other girls, so why not me?"
"Just stop over thinking May. Relax."
"I am." I defend.
"Uhuh." I roll my eyes at Adam and throw a pillow at him.

Harry: I forgot to reply
His message brightens my phone. I just stare at it until my screen goes dark.
Harry: sorry
I lock my phone and turn it face down so I don't see any of his messages coming through. I'm not going to reply quickly like he expects.
My curiosity takes the best of me so I read through them.
Harry: ??
Harry: I said sorry
Harry: I know you're reading these, it says read.
I turn off my read thing in my settings.
Harry: really?
Harry: you turned it off? Now it just says delivered
Harry: I said sorry May, I thought I hit send on my message
Harry: I was wondering why I haven't heard from you in a week, and now I know why
Harry: I'm coming over bc this is bothering me
