Johnny stepped on the brakes, and parked his car next to the curb of Timmy's street address. Next to it was a house where Timmy's family lives, a small two stories high with a large front yard of nothing but grass. Without waiting for Johnny to get out, he rushed to the front door and knocked obnoxiously. No footsteps or any voices could be heard on the opposite side of the door. He rang the doorbell, but still no one came out the house.

"Hey!" Yelled Johnny behind Timmy.

Startled, Timmy turned and gave an annoyed look at Johnny. "Dude, don't sneak up on me like that."

Johnny rolled his eyes and showed him an annoyed look to Timmy. "I kept calling you, but you weren't answering back. You've been like this since this morning. Is there really nothing wrong with you?"

Ignoring Johnny's question's, Timmy kept staring at the door. "Why isn't anyone answering?" Timmy paced around the front yard. "Wait here. I'll be back."

Not waiting for any reply from Johnny, Timmy went to the side of the house and got behind a large bush. Watching Timmy disappear after jumping over a big bush to the side of the house, Johnny awkwardly stood still in front of the front door. Few minutes later, Timmy reappears from the place he went to. Not to far away from Johnny, he sees the keys his friend had waved, and a bright smile plastered on Timmy's face

It was a first time for Johnny, seeing Timmy's smile without any hint of alcohol in his system. The smile was giving him warmth and light, warding the darkness away. Johnny wanted to pinch Timmy's cheeks when he sees the shallow dimples of his left side. Then he moved to his eyes, the eyes that captured Johnny's attention and wore it on his wrist. Timmy as whole was an enigma to Johnny.

"No one's inside the house, but I got my keys," informed Timmy to Johnny.

"You broke into your own house just to get your keys? Couldn't you just wait for one of your family member to let you in? You now call them. What would happen if your neighbors call the police on you?" Johnny lectured Timmy, but the man with a mission paid no heed to his words.

"I used to do this all the time when I was in high school. I sneak out, I sneak in. My dad, sister, and grandpa knows this but they can't do anything about it." Bragged Timmy, the smile on his face grew bigger. Even going as far as smirking to Johnny, showing off his his school hi-jinks.

"Why wouldn't they do anything about you breaking in?"

"It's because they couldn't catch me breaking in. Plus, my neighbors tried to get me but still "

Speechless, Johnny stares at the person standing across him. Timmy does a nonchalant shrug of both hands.

"Ehem." A person cleared their throat breaking the calm atmosphere.

Standing there with hands on her hips was Linda Wong. Her lavender dressed was covered with a thin wool coat but the breeze that passed move along wit it.

"Oh. Hey Linda. How's it going?" Scratching the back of his head, Timmy laughed awkwardly, giving her a sheepish smile. He tried to play it cool, not knowing if she heard all the things he had done. Or all the stuffs that he used to do with her son and their other friends.

"So do you know where my dad and grandpa went to? Lily still back with her?"

Linda stood there ready to give a mouthful talk, but went against it. She sees the way Timmy mentioned his sister. Instead, she told the boys to follow her the opened door by the key to the entrance of the house. Both boys trailed behind her like mother duck and her chicks.

Walking through the small hallway, Johnny was amazed at how everything was compact. Eyes move at every objects that they passed by. Timmy observed Johnny who was acting like a puppy seeing a toy for the first time. Somehow, Timmy found this endearing and cute.
