Chapter 2~ Solving Things

"REAL ESTATE CLOSED FOR GOOD."
That is what the sign on the building read.

"Are you kidding me?" Levi mutters.

"Oh no..." I say.

"Come on," Levi says and begins to walk.

"Huh? Where are we going?" I ask.

"To the next place." He says.

Surprisingly I follow him and we make our way to an old woman who used to work for the same real estate that was closed. She lived in a small dojo 20 minutes away from "my" apartment.

"It's a scam." The old woman says, sipping her tea.

"SCAM?!" We say in unison.

"A scam indeed." She says.

"Well...look out our contracts," Levi says. We both pull out our contracts and place them on the table.

"Ah...it looks like Mr. Ackerman did indeed make his contract first...but he was only charged 100,000 yen. It's originally supposed to be 200,000 yen."

"200,000 yen!" I say.

"Yes...but YN here was charged the same amount...so either way. Both of you shouldn't be living in that apartment."

"Can we get our money back?" Levi asks.

"I'm afraid that's not possible my boy."

"No....." I say.

"Dammit..." Levi mutters.

"I'm sorry you two...but don't you guys want to live together?"

"No...why would you think that?" I ask.

"Well aren't you two lovebirds?" The old woman said with a smile.

"WHA?! NO!" I exclaim.

"Why would I date someone as ugly as a door?" Levi asks.

"HEY!" I say with anger.

"Ho Ho Ho...." the lady chuckles. (Tanaka Chuckle)

"We should get going..." Levi says and gets up.

"Yeah. Let's go." I say.

Time Skip to the apartment~

We both walk-in and set our contracts down on the table. Levi takes a seat and I lay back on the wall.

We both sigh.

"So here's the deal." He says.

"Huh?"

"We are going to live together." He says.

"What?! NO WAY IN HECK!"

"Unless you want to live on the street I suggest you accept my offer," Levi says.

"Why should I do that?"

"Look...I will move out as soon as I find a place that is cheap enough for me...or you can move out when a spot in the girl's dormitories is open. Which one ever comes first."

"Ok...but is there a catch."

"Huh?" He asks.

"A catch? Are there any rules? Obligations?" I ask.

"Yes. First....do not tell a soul that you are living with me!"

"Easy enough."

"Second...do not come into my room."

"I would never go into there anyway."

"Third...don't eat my food."

"Probably nasty anyway."

"And last but not least....DO. NOT. TOUCH. MY. CLEANING. SUPPLIES."

"Drink bleach!" I say.

"What?!" He yells.

"Nothing...and ok. These are fine rules with me. But I have rules too!" I say.

"Eh?"

"Yes! I have rules. I live here too now...right?"

"Fine." He says.

"Anyway....rule 1....do not touch my manga."

"Tch...."

"Rule 2....don't touch my limited addition Black Butler figurines."

"Wouldn't dream of it." He says.

"Rule 3...we are getting a cat."

"WHAT?!" He says.

"We are getting a cat!" I say.

"Hehehe....NO." He says.

"heheheh...YES." I say.

"No! No animals! Animals make messes!" He says.

"I don't care....it's my rule," I say.

"Mmmmmmm...."

"You don't want to live on the streets do you?" I ask with a smirk.

"Mmmmm.....I hate you." He mutters.

"Good," I say and begin to walk to my room.

"Where are you going?" He asks.

"Bed," I say.

"Why?"

"To sleep," I say with a yawn.

"Ok...goodnight." He says with a monotone voice.

"Goodnight Levi," I say as I close the door.

Levi's POV

I sit on the couch and reflect on the day. I sigh.

"Well.....this should be good," I say with sarcasm.
