What a crazy night I had, the doctors are still here though. I guess they want to see how I do in the daylight. I am currently eating breakfast, eggs with yogurt and toast, with my two big brothers Dean and Sam. If you haven't noticed already, Dean and Sam are early birds. They are always the first two up, they go for a morning jog or lift weights around 6 am and are eating around 7 am. Usually, I would wake up around 7 am or later and either eat with Dean and Sam or with my other brothers. Cody wakes up around 11 to 12 pm, like all teenage boys. The doctor, Brian, is already up as well, eating a slice of toast and reading over the notes from the incident last night that Elizabeth jotted down as I was in the middle of my panic attack. I roll my eyes at him and continue to eat my breakfast in silence.
"This is stupid, Dean. I don't see why we can't just kick them out?" I whisper
"Because William says it is not nice of us to do that. I already tried, apparently the closest hotel is two miles away from us."
I roll my eyes once again and pick up my plate to wash it. After my daily chores of watering my garden, cleaning up the dishes after breakfast, and undusting the family room, I sit down in the sofa facing the fireplace and start to read my novel. I am three chapters into the book when Elizabeth decides to sit down next to me. I pretend to not notice her and continue reading, but it starts to get difficult to concentrate when she starts to hum to herself. I cough under my breath, watching her from the corner of my eyes, I see she is staring right at me. I let out a long breath and put my book down, facing her I ask,
"Is there anything I can do for you, doctor?" I raise my eyebrow in the process.
"No, thank you. Only observing you. Continue to read, please." She points to my book that I had placed on the night stand.
"You see, doctor, the thing is, I cannot concentrate on my novel while somebody is sitting next to me, very close if I may add, and humming to themselves. In my family, that would be considered very rude."
"Ahh, I see, well I do apologize greatly for intruding in your precious alone time. Do excuse me." She is about to get up from her spot when William intrudes,
"No, doctor, please stay there. I brought you some tea." William places a cup filled with tea on the night table "Viviana, please come to my office. Now." William glares at me, then walks away.
I walk behind William, thinking about what I did wrong and how to tell him that I absolutely hate this woman, in a nice way of course. I stomp my way downstairs to our basement, William slowly opening the door to his office. I walk in, sit down in front of his desk, cross my arms in front of my chest and huff loudly, trying to get my point across to him that I am not happy.
"I am very disappointed in you Viviana. That is no way to act around our guests, especially ones who are here to EVALUATE YOU!" William slams his fist on his desk to grab my attention as I have found my shoes more interesting, but the loud boom he made got my attention quickly focused back on him. "What is wrong with you? Did you take you medications today, Viviana?!"
I shrug my shoulders, not caring to speak to him. I already know William wont even care to hear my side of the story. He is pure Latin, and Latins are super strict when it comes to the hospitality of others, well the majority of Latinos are anyways.
"I expect a direct answer from you!" William roars out
"No sir, I did not. Dean said it was too early to take it when I had woken up."
"And what time was that, Viviana?"
"7:08 am, sir."
"No wonder you are in such a foul mood. Not only did you not get enough sleep last night, but you also didn't take your medicine. I expect you to apologize to Dr. Elizabeth upstairs for your unacceptable behavior and attend to her. Afterwards, you are to come back down here with me, with your medicine, and take a nap. Do you understand me?"
"But William!! It was't even...."
"I SAID, DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?!"
"..Y-yes sir."
"Good. Now march you butt upstairs this minute!" William yells as he points to his door.
I stand up from the chair, and make my way upstairs to the family room with tears threatening to fall from my eyes. William sure knows how to frighten me, and right now I do not even want to know what will happen if I don't listen. I see Elizabeth and quickly apologize to her, she accepted my apology and went on with her jotting down notes. She didn't even have the courtesy to look at me while I was apologizing! Well, she can take her badly written notes and stuff them up her ass! I stomp to the kitchen and ask Dean to hand me my medicine nicely. He does and instead of gulping them down in front of him, I make my way downstairs into William's office, and almost throw them at him. The key word here is: almost. William picks them up, glares at me, then almost shoves the pills down my throat.
"Go sleep."
He points to the small sofa he has in his huge office, already laid down with a blanket and a pillow for me. I crawl under the blanket and slowly drift off to sleep, with the only sound of William typing away on his laptop. Two hours later I wake up, William is nowhere to be seen and voices are coming from upstairs. I stand up from the sofa, slowly walk up the stairs, and hide behind the door as I see William, Dean, Sam, and Damon talking to the three doctors and June.
"I am again very sorry to see what has been happening here, it is obvious with her attack last night that it can be classified as life-threatening. This is a completely different level of P.O.T.S than what we have seen. Because of her incident, and the fear that one of you will not be able to aid her in time, we have decided, in a very short notice than what I had previously expected, to accept a service animal for her." Elizabeth hands over some pieces of paper to William who looks over it, "This here is a list of places you can go pick up her service animal starting from today. We are very pleased to see the further studies we will continue in our laboratories based on her disease. Because of the incident last night, we were not only able to witness something so rare consisting of this rare disease in the human population, but as well as retrieve some interesting data. Thank you again Mr. Reyes for allowing us this amazing opportunity."
"Thank you so much for accepting the service animal, it is only one of many worries we have lessened with Viviana. I am grateful for your opportunity in studying her disease and aiding in the cure." William and my brothers shake their hands and walk with them outside to their taxi.
I make my way outside, wearing only my sweats, a t-shirt on, and my socks, I walk towards William and tug on his shirt. He turns to me, surprised at first to see me, then picks me up, placing me on his hip. We all go back inside where Dean goes off to find Cody and bring me some shoes. Sam is already putting in the GPS locations to the store as we all pile into the family car. An hour later, we finally arrive to a big building. We walk inside and start to look around, well I do with Damon, Sam, and Cody, while William and Dean talk to a person about the service animal and fill out some paperwork. After a good half an hour of searching, I spot a beautiful German Shepard mix Husky dog, his name is Zeus.
"I found him! I found him!" I yelled out to my family
Well, after another hour of paperwork, and finding out that he is trained for my type of disease, we have Zeus and his special harnesses and food and toys packed in our car. I should have one special harness that switches to different colors depending on the day, for when Zeus is what we call 'working', when he is watching over me, and then of course my dog gets a break, so when I am with my big brothers, Zeus has his regular dog harness, he is also trained to know when he is 'working' and when he is on break. He also has a special vest that has 'Do not pet dog please' on it so that other people do not distract him, even if he is trained to ignore distractions. Zeus is a medium sized dog, with white and black all over his body. (picture of dog above). He has beautiful light blue eyes, almost looking white. I am already in love with my dog! Zeus is already watchful of me, and he isn't even working. He is on break right now since I am with my family and we are at home, so he doesn't have any harness on right now, yet he follows me around everywhere. He has his own dog bed, it's a dark blue color, in my bedroom, but I don't think he will even use it. William decided to test it for tonight and if Zeus ends up in my bed, his doggy bed will go downstairs in the corner of the family room overlooking the whole room and kitchen.

Zeus is already happy with his new home and family, he keeps wagging his tail with happiness and jumping on me every time I call his name. Dean made it clear that even though Zeus is a special service dog, I am to take care of him as a normal dog too, meaning I have to feed him, walk him daily, and give him baths. Good thing Zeus loves water, which is what the guy who we bought him from told me. We are all eating dinner, pasta with lento beans and rice, and Zeus right next to me eating his dog food.
"How are you getting along with Zeus, Vivi? Do you like him?" Dean asked me
"Yes sir! I love him! and he already loves me, he follows me around even though he knows he doesn't have to when he's a normal dog and he licks me when I call his name! I am so glad you guys bought me him!"
"I am glad you two are getting along. You are grounded still Viviana, one week no television or electronics. Including your phone, for your rudeness this morning towards doctor Elizabeth. Bed time is going to be early tonight Vivi, okay?" William comments
"Yes sir, I'm sorry William for this morning. I shouldn't have treated our guest that way, I did apologize to her though."
"I know you did, sweetie and thank you for that. You're forgiven."
After dinner was bedtime, I crawl into bed, give Dean a goodnight kiss since he was the one helping me in bed tonight, and swallow my medicine. Zeus went straight to bed too, in his doggy bed. Around 11:10 pm, Zeus plopped next to me, curling up into my arms and started to lick me, then he fell asleep. I wrapped my arms around him like a giant teddy bear and fell back to sleep, my breathing falling slowly along with Zeus. I love my dog, and I already know we will have a special bond together. I guess his doggy bed is going to be downstairs for now on.
