"She is whining the entire time, 'I miss Levi'." Max imitates me, while I sit in a corner.
"Same with him," Kate laughs, "I thank God, that I am free of him for atleast two classes."
"Very funny." Levi yells from behind, "Kate, are you telling?"
"What?" Max and I ask in unison.
"T-that I have learned how to cook and finally don't ask Levi to cook for me." Kate says.
"I thank God, that we don't share a dorm." Levi says.
"Guys, can we talk now?" I say.
"Okay, but don't whine afterwards." Max smirks.
"You wish." I say, snatching my phone from him. Even Levi leaves Kate's room, "Hey."
"I miss you." He smiles.
"So do I." I say, "How's college?"
"Stupid."
"How will I know? I never went to one." I shrug.
"Phoenix."
"Yup."
"You never told us what Brittany said." Levi says.
"I told you." I say.
"That she wanted to apologize, for the way she treated us." Levi repeats.
"Yeah."
"Phoenix you may fool Kate, but you know that you cannot fool me." Levi says. Suddenly his gaze shifts, "Oh. Hey Chloe."
"Hey, Levi." The girl hugs him, as I look through the phone, who the hell is she. "Is that Phoenix?"
"Yep, that's her." Levi smiles, "Phoenix. Chloe. Chloe. Phoenix."
"Hey." I wave. Who on earth is this girl. Did my inner girlfriend just come out?
"Levi talks about you the whole time." Chloe smiles.
"He does?" I ask.
"Yeah, plus he is very sweet. You are very lucky to have him." Chloe says.
"Yes that I am." I smile back.
"I have to go. Levi, see you at dinner?" Chloe asks and he nods.
"Levi?" I ask.
"Yeah."
"Who is she?" okay, my inner girlfriend came out. It has never happened with Kate, because they act like siblings. But this girl, gave me pretty bad vibes.
"That's Chloe. She is in most of my and Kate's classes." Levi pauses, "Wait a sec, are you jealous?"
"No, I am not." I lie.
"I know you so well." Levi laughs, "You are jealous! Just admit it."
"Okay, fine. I am jealous." I shrug.
"She is just a friend." Levi says.
"It always starts with this statement." I mumble.
"Phoenix, I swear she is just another friend." Levi smirks, "I don't say anything about you and Tom, do I?"
"He is going to get married, Levi!" I state.
"So, what?" He shrugs, "I was kidding, I love you."
"Whatever." I literally shrug my shoulders.
"Did I mention the list of gay friends I have?" Levi chuckles a bit.
"What?"
"Yeah, she is on that list after Max." Levi states, "Now, you're happy?"
"I may or may not have overreacted." I rub my neck.
"Now, tell me about Brittany." Levi says, as he enters his dorm.
"I told you the truth." I lie.
"Phoenix."
"What?"
"Tell me."
"Okay fine." I say, "But promise me that you won't mention a word to Kate."
"Okay, Madam." Levi tips his imaginary hat, "What did she do?"
"She was, in a way, responsible for my accident." I mumble.
"WHAT?"
"Levi, calm down." I say.
"Sorry, continue." He says, taking the soda cans out of his fridge. I explain everything to him, as he walks to Kate's dorm. "Oh my God!"
"Please Levi don't tell Kate or any soul." I beg.
"Yeah, babe. I won't." He says, "So, she moved to England to start her life all over again."
"Yes."
"I cannot imagine what she went through." Levi says, and opens the door to Kate's room, "OH MY GOD!"
"What happened?" I ask.
Levi shakes his head, "I cannot take that image out of my brain, forever."
"Levi, what happened?"
"I am traumatized for life." He stands in shock, "Horrifying."
"Are you telling me?" I repeat.
"I saw people making out." Levi says.
"Oh, was it Kate?" I ask excitedly.
"No, her roommate." He replies.
"Eh, you are no fun." I say.
"Is that a compliment?"
"No."
"How the hell did we fall in love?" Levi laughs.
"Even I don't know."
