Datum 22 : Forced Enlistment

I shook my head on my disbelief. Nope. Ngayon ko lang nakilala ang isang ito and I'm quite sure though.

"Here we are." Hagalaz as he stopped and inputs a series of door codes to unlock the said metallic door. Napalingon siya saakin.

"Pasok." Matipid niyang pag utos. Hindi ko lubos na maitindihan ngunit kusang lumakad ang aking mga binti. As If I was hypnotized.

"See you on the other side, Vaughn." He said upon the door closing down. Napalingon ako as I let go of a smirk sa hindi malamang dahilan.

Maybe he's really a good guy after all, I guess. How I wish I could have a chance of being his best friend, and that would be nice and chaotic at the same time.

We're both crazy and it's a match. Why did I even gave a smile? Tch! so much for that.  

Bright lights and cold air then welcomed me as I saw a familiar woman standing next to a plain wooden table.

"Welcome Captain Von Devi."

Agad akong napatigil saaking pagyapak nang marinig ko ang isang tinig ng babae.

"Or should I say.. Captain Vaughn Meinhardt?"

Halata ang naghahalong gulat at pagkalito sa mga mata ni Vaughn habang pinagmamasdan ako mula sa gawing tabi ng aking mesa.

Hindi mababakas sakanyang mga nagulantang mga mata ang antok, come to think of it, it's already pass 3am.

Kahit ako wala paring pahinga until now, but still, Making our move to have him is worth all the exhaustion.

Hindi siya nakitaan ng kahit anong hestitation at agad na lumapit saaking desk sabay hawak sa magkabilang dulo nito.

"Vaughn Meinhardt? Why call me like that when my name is Von Devi! What's the meaning of this?! Bakit ganito? To the point na pinakidnap mo pa ako, pinagsuot ng uniporme ninyo at laking gulat ko nalang na isa napala akong respetadong Captain ng Xavierheld Military!? What the actual f*ck Admiral?!"

Confusion and fury boils through his sapphire eyes. Hindi ko rin naman siya magawang sisihin sa marahas naming paraan but it's the only safest way.

Napapikit ako at agarang tumayo. Maingat kong kinuha ang iilang papeles mula saaking mesa at maiging inilatag sakanyang harapan.

I looked at him while he still cannot look through me. Alam kong sa mga oras na ito ay wala na akong ibang paraan pa.

"Kindly affix your signature here and all of this will be over." I seriously said na nagpalingon sakanya. Hindi siya umimik at agad na tinignan ang papeles na nakalatag sakanyang harapan.

"Enlistment Contract?!!" He exclaimed as he astonishingly gazed through me. "Are you even kidding me?! Why would you even enlist a fugitive like me on this military sh*t?!!"

"It's the only way to save you and your so-called siblings."

Natigilan siya mula sakanyang narinig. Kahit sobrang lamig sa silid na ito ay namumugto ang mga malalamig na butil ng pawis sakanyang noo at leeg.

"What.. What do you mean?" He trembled.

"You had trespassed the unit hangar on the prison settlement, and had even caused chaotic scenery on the said area. You had also violated the command officers persuading me to let a final decision of sending the three of you towards the Galatic Space Prisons."
