20: Melancholy
(Acrostic)
My soul is wrapped around your subtle fold,
Enveloping my thoughts in barren cold;
Lamenting all my fumbled chances for
A better prospect through that open door,
Now I must live a life of cruel despair,
Condemned to live and breathe the stagnant air.
Honest to God, if I could change my fate,
Or even have the guts to choose than wait,
Let me begin again and prove myself;
You only need to take that chance yourself.
