Datum 17 : The Calling

Start from the beginning

All these times, he was there for me when I need Alexander the most. I cannot help but to feel worried for him nang marinig ang balita patungkol sa nangyari sa Earth.

Siya nalang ang meron ako for now, and I can't afford to lose him in any circumstances.

Napatingin siya sakin at bahagyang ngumiti. "You're even much more beautiful with your short hair, Revienne.." he said as he smiled while returning back to his reading.

"Revienne" he gently called at napatingin saakin. I then responded silently as I gazed through his hesitating eyes.

I need to face this. Crying won't do much and will not solve it. I'll be okay. I won't make my life miserable any longer.

Napapikit ako as I tighten my hands on my pocket. I can feel the paper clover inside, hoping that it will give me just a piece of strength and luck.

"Our search operations for Alexander will be turning for almost a month now, Revienne. The higher officials had given us only 1 month for his retrieval, but still, not a single clue about him."

Just I was expecting. Still not a clue about him, bukod sa soft copy ng sulat ni Alexander na nagawang mailikom ni Hagalaz.

"Come to think of it, walang kinalaman ang Xavierheld sakanyang paglisan. His last letter only proves, that, it was his intention na umalis ng military ng walang pasabi. Sooner or later, he will be blacklisted on military sector and will be called a deserter, and the worst, the higher ups would file Absence With Out Leave against him that would lead to his permanent dismissal." He seriously said.

Kahit hindi niya sabihin ay pilit niyang itinatago ang kanyang pag aalala at kalungkutan dala ng pagkawala ng kanyang kapatid, but still he stands firm and strong. He accepts the possibilities, and all the consequences.

Hindi ko maiwasang tingalain siya. How I wish na kasing tibay din ako ni Hagalaz.

"Ganoon ba.." I said, as I try to contain my sadness through my eyes. Umugong muli ang panandaliang katahimikan.

I gazed through the window and watch the sun kiss the calm waves through the sea. I need to respect his decision, and gradually move on.

Wala nang magagawa pa ang pagluluksa. Wala nang magagawa pa ang pag iyak. I could be strong as anyone else would be.

I just have to move on.

"Stop the operations, at once Hagalaz." I said, still gazing through the window.

"Are you sure, Revienne?" he asked as he looked at me seriously. I looked at him and smiled.

"I'll be just hoping and wishing Alexander all the best. We must move on." I gently lay off my words na nagpapikit kay Hagalaz.

I just look down and clasped my hands together in attempt to stop my crying.

Agad akong napatingala, at natigilan just to find out Hagalaz gazing his blue eyes towards me.
