Chapter 11 - The recorded truth gets played

Jake: listening to tap recorder
Yes! We got the proof!

Trixie: putting her finger up to her lips
Shhh! Eden is still asleep!

Jake: looking at Eden and smirked
Looks like we now are gonna learn about your secret.

Eden tossed over on the ground while sleeping and scared everyone into silence as they thought she was waking up.

Spud:
Yo Jake, are you gonna call up that Australian dragon? Maybe he knows.

Jake: running over to the phone
Brilliant Spud! Nerk might know about her!

Trixie and Spud sat down on the couch and watched Eden sleep, hoping she wouldn't wake up while Jake was on the phone. Jake was dialling Fred's number and waited to see if anyone would answer.

Fred: talking on the phone
Hello?

Jake: happily answering back
Hey Nerk!

Fred: happily talking
G'day mate! What suddenly made you wanna to chat with Down Under Drag?

Jake: looking at Eden
Is there a missing Australian girl called Eden Adams?

Fred: shocked
....., how did you know about that? ......We don't show that stuff globally, only if it was a major thing.

Jake: scratching his head
Yeah well, she is kinda asleep on my living room floor...

Fred was silent, he didn't say a word and waited for Jake to finish his sentence.

Jake: sighing
And with full dragon abilities.

Fred: screaming into the phone
ARE YOU KIDING ME!?! THIS IS THE WORST PRANK YOU HAVE EVER DONE JAKE LONG!

Jake: chuckling
Yeah.... I wish this was a prank.

Fred: slamming down the phone
I'M COMING TO AMERICA!

Jake: putting the phone down

Spud: looking at Jake
So how are we gonna tell Eden that we spiked her drink with a truth potion, took advantage of her to tell us about her life and that we also have a very sceptical fellow Australian dragon coming to see her?

Trixie and Jake stood there speechless; now the whole three of them have dug themselves a grave with their names on it.

Trixie: sighing

Eden sat up and rubbed her eyes, glanced over at the clock and sighed

Eden: standing up
Guys, why didn't you wake me up earlier? It's almost mid day.

Spud: gesturing to Jake
Well, Jake has a surprise for you.

Jake stood there with baited breath and had not a single idea of what angle Spud was playing at.

Eden: shrugging
What ever, just totally dodge my question then.

Spud:
Hey Eden, did Jake tell you that he is gonna help you with dragon training today. Also he called one of his fellow dragon friends to help..... The Australian dragon.

Eden: looked nervous
Australia has a dragon?

Trixie: smirking
Yeah, most countries have one. Is there something wrong with that?

Eden: fake smiling
No, no, no. That's- that's rather cool.

Spud and Trixie left the living room and headed for the front door.

Trixie: letting Spud out the door first then exited waving
