Chapter 18; Ex's and Oh's

"Am I not a good enough reason?" I fake a gasp.

"Ha. Ha. You know your not." We both laugh.

"Does Sky Media ring a bell?"

"Oh my god," he says in a white girl accent, "you know Skydoesminecraft?"

"Yeah. We're like, totally, bff's."

"B.S."

"Come and see."

"Maybe I will."

"Okay."

"O FRICKEN KAY!!!" I yell, getting annoyed. He laughs.

"See ya then." He hangs up as Ross pulls into the parking lot.

"So," Ross says as we get out of the car, "does Max have some competition?" He asks excitedly.

"Nah. Steven's actually my ex," I say, laughing. "And I'm pretty sure Steven has a girlfriend. Whom he'll probably bring. Don't worry, I'm going to make him find a hotel or something."

"Oh. Goody," Max mumbles sarcastically.

"Huh?" I ask confused. "Do you have something against Steven?"

"Oh, should I just have my ex girlfriends come and visit?"

"Max, it isn't like that! Steven and I have been friends since school!"

"Oh, you probably have other ex boyfriends that can come and visit too."

"Steven was my first and only boyfriend." Max is really starting to piss me off.

"Oh. How nice that he's coming to visit."

"I take it back."

"Take what back?"

"What I said in my sleep. Forget about it."

"No. Forget it Max." I storm into my office. With a huff, I sit my chair, just for a pair of arms to wrap around me. I jump up to see Sarah, and quickly return the hug.

"Sarah! I thought you weren't coming until tomorrow!"

"I wanted to surprise you!"

"Who let you in?"

"This cute guy! I think his name was..... navy?" (Oh, no. Not this again).

"Was it Barney?"

"No."

"Adam?"

"No. His name was a color."

"Oh... You mean Michael!"

"Michael is not a color, (y/n)!"

"No, his real name is Michael, but everyone calls him Red."

"Ohhh... Is he Redvactor?"

"First that Max guy, then that Red guy. Geez, you know I have thing for red-heads. I wouldn't take Max from you, though. You two seem to like each other."
