Farkle was excitedly bustling about his laboratory. Riley watched with peaked interest as he set a slide into his microscope, checking the settings, he drips a solution onto the slide. Maya drums her fingers against her thigh.
"It's ready. Riley why don't you look first?" Farkle gestures to the mechanism.
As Riley approaches the microscope, Maya and Farkle share a look. This is it. The moment they've been preparing for for the past three months. Maya takes a shaky breath as Riley brings her eye to the piece. "Oh! The particles are moving! They're purple!" Riley turns to Farkle, "What is it supposed to do again?"
"Why don't you look again? The solution should be beginning to react now." Farkle quickly suggests. Riley turns back to the scope, Maya and Farkle anxiously await her reaction.
She gasps, "It looks like they're spelling something!"
Maya manages to prompt her farther, "What does it say?" Her heart is beating as she takes a knee
"They say... R-i-l-e-y-w-i-l-l-y-o-u-m-a-r-r-y-m-e" she's hit with realization as she whips around to face the girl she loves on one knee
"Riley, will you marry me?"
"Yyyyyyyyyyaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy!"
