I sat at the foot of Lachlan's bed, watching him as he slept normally, as if he didn't pass out like he did. I hope he's okay, I mean he survived my flame without burns, so he has to be okay. Right?
"Luna calm down. He's okay." Vikk said, putting his hand on my shoulder.
"Oh hey Vikk. Do you have any info on what's going on in his mind?" I asked, showing puppy eyes.
"Well he seems to have been overwhelmed with something, but I can't get into his mind at the moment. It's blocking me out." Vikk replied.
"He might be getting his emotions back. All of that feeling hitting him at once could be why he passed out. It makes sense, and it may happen to us as well, if we do regain our full abilities." Mitch interrupted, entering the room.
"L-luna?!" Vikk shouted.
"Yes?" I questioned.
"I-i can turn it off." Vikk replied.
"What do you mean, Vikk?" Mitch asked.
"I don't have to hear everyone's thoughts constantly... I can control it!" Vikk exclaimed.
"I'm so happy for you Vikk!" I exclaimed, hugging him.
"Come, let's leave Lachlan to rest. He may not wake for a few days even. His ability is quite a lot to regain, especially all at once. I hope that's why he's out cold. It would be rather awful for him to have to live the rest of his life like this. He was such a happy person before. We all were." Mitch explained, leading us out of Lachlan's room and into the living room.
I wonder when everyone else is getting their ability fully back.... I hope it's soon. I hope Lachlan wakes up soon... I can't lose him, not when I have just gotten him back. My memories from my past are slowly coming back as the days past. Some are bad, but most are good. Back when we were all happy, before Ali-a became evil. Those were the days....
