Chapter 27.

"Oh my God Grace I'm so sorry!" She apologizes.

"This taste disgusting!" I comment not knowing what to do.

I stick my tongue out avoiding to swallow.

"Well it's not to be put in your mouth-", "claire!" I snap.

"Right sorry" she apologizes.

"Ugh answer the door I'll go rinse this off" I order.

"Got it" she says running to the door.

I jog to the kitchen sink spitting multiple of times and rinsing my mouth with water.

"Slade, Grace will be here in a few minutes" I hear Claire say.

Turning off the sink water I grab a paper towel dry off and make my way to the door.

"Ok no problem-wow!" he breathes out when his eyes land on me.

I blush.

"Hi" I say.

He scratches the back of his neck.

"Hi" he replies nervously.

Slade nervous?

That's weird.

I shrug it off.

"Y-you look beautiful" he compliments.

"Thank you" I reply smiling like crazy.

"Awww how cute!" Claire pipes.

"Before you go let me just take a quick picture" she states.

She skips her way towards the stairs.

She then freezes and turns to face us.

"Don't leave" she warns and turns back around this time running up the stairs as fast as she could.

I thought on leaving for the fun of it, but I decided to wait for her to snap a few pictures considering all she did for me to help me get ready for this date and how excited she was about all of this.

"We should've ran when we had the chance" Slade comments as we exit my house.

I laugh.

"I totally agree" I state.

He holds my hand intertwining our fingers.

I smile to myself.

"So.....where are we going?" I ask.

"It's a surprise" he whispers.

"Haven't I waited long enough Slade?" I question.

He plants a kiss on my nose.

"Nope" he replies casually.

I giggle feeling my cheeks burn.

"The car is parked just around the corner so you don't have to do much walking-", "wait car?" I ask.

He nods.

"What happened to your bike?" I ask.

"It's where my job is at. I asked if I could barrow a car for tonight. I had a feeling you would wear something like a dress or skirt" he explains.

I smile.

"I usually do" I state.

"Yeah but not like that. You usually wear longer skirts where nothing could show.......what you have on now is much shorter and attractive" he explains.

I blush at the word attractive.

I clear my throat.

"Very well then" I reply.

He avoids eye contact.

"Point proven" I add with a smile.

He chuckles.

"Better be" he jokes.

"Shut up" I order punching him gently.

After what seemed like a few 15 to 20 minutes of driving we had arrived at our destination.

At first I was nervous about getting into the car, because I've been taken anywhere in a car by Slade.

Then I remembered a bike is much more dangerous than a car and I ride on that with him and million times a day, plus he's my boyfriend and I trust him.

I know he would't do anything to harm or hurt me anyway.

''We're here'' he announces flashing me a smile after parking the car.

Getting out and closing the door behind me he opens mine offering me his hand.

''What a gentlemen, why thank you'' I reply taking his hand as he helped me out the car.

''No problemo my lady'' he answers causing me to chuckle.

I then take a look at my surroundings.

''This is a really expensive restaurant Slade'' I state recognizing it.

''Indeed it is'' he agrees.

''This is where we're eating?'' I ask in a little bit of shock.

''No'' he retorts casually.

''Oh'' I mumble.

''Of course this is where we're eating Grace. Why would I just take you here to stare at the entrance of the restaurant'' he pipes.

I punch his arm.

''Don't make me sound and look stupid'' I pout.

''I'm sorry babe'' he apologizes planting a kiss on my cheek.

''Whatever'' I reply quietly trying to keep the smile that was currently forming on my face.

''Aww you know you love me look at that smile on your face'' he says pinching my nose.

I push his hand away.

''Whatever'' I laugh.

''Slade there's one problem'' I inform.

''What's that?'' he questions.

''How are we suppose to get into a restaurant that's closed?'' I ask.
