Even if I felt like I couldn't do it anymore I pushed myself further.

I ran as fast as I could following where ever his footsteps took him.

It was dark and I felt as if my heart was going to fly out of my chest any minute now, but I kept going.

My legs became weaker by the second as Slade lead me to God knows where.

You may think it's stupid that I'm still yet with him after all of this that has happened today.

Well, what else can I do?

I don't know where I currently am.

And if anyone knows how to escape criminal stuff like this it's Slade.

Come on Grace you can do this.

Just think of your future.

And the fact that if you get caught by the cops and arrested you will have no future.

Plus your parents will kill you!

Great motivation there.

Trying not to panic more than I already am I turn around to see if the cops were still chasing us or if we had lost them.

No sight of anyone.

Sighing a sigh of relief I smile in victory turning back around.

Instead of continuing my run a shriek escapes my lips and I fall flat face on the ground.

My eyes close shut as my glasses flying off my face. I feel multiple scratches on my skin and extreme pain in most of my body.

Taking this time to catch my breath I gasp air like my life depended on it, which it probably did.

After a moment I feel a pair of strong arms lift me up from the ground.

"You ok?" he questions.

I clutch my head feeling dizzy all of a sudden.

My legs begin to wobble and give up on me.

Thankfully he catches me before I fall.

"I got you" he assures lifting me up to my feet and carrying me.

"I'm sorry Grace" he whispers.

I bury my head in his chest closing my eyes still processing what had happened.

"We're here" he states putting me down.

I rub my eyes waiting for him to hop on his bike.

I hop on once I put my helmet on.

"Look Grace I'm-", "I don't want to hear it!" I cut off.

I sigh trying to calm myself down.

"Just take me home" I mumble.

"Fine".

Successfully opening the front door I quietly enter and close the door gently behind me.

Making my way across the living room something catches my eye.

I turn to see two figures in the darkness of the living room.

I let out a shriek and trip.

The lights turn on.

"Where the hell were you?" my father voice's demands.

"We were worried sick!" my mother comments.

I stand up slowly.

Sighing I begin to explain.
