Nevaeh POV

I took a deep breath as I tried to focus my senses on the opponent in front of me. I opened my eyes, but it was useless. The dark visor hide alot of my sight, how the hell did troopers see through these things? No wonder they couldn't shoot anything. Suddenly I heard it go off, I quickly positioned my saber to deflect the blast, then the next, and the next, until it was a full on barrage and I couldn't handle it much anymore. I felt multiple burns cover my arms and legs, it wouldn't kill me, but that doesn't mean it didn't cause pain!

"Ow! Ow! Ow! Okay okay! Thats enough!" I shouted deactivating my saber and ripping the helmet from my head. I was met with the stone faced version of dad as I scowled at him. "How is this supposed to help? It's not like I'll be fighting blindfolded!" I told him in anger as I rubbed at the burns on my arms. Dad walked over and stopped me from doing so.

"Don't do that, it makes them worse." He said with a small smirk, which I matched, my anger fading away as I did so.

"You speak from experience?" I asked knowingly. He chuckled and went back over to where he had been standing.

"Okay, again. But this time you need to focus, you won't always be able to rely on sight. Let the force guide you, let it be your eyes for the time being. I know you can do it. If you can survive a fight with Vader, then you can handle a simple training exercise." Dad was a good teacher, no doubt, but it was difficult to this of my father as my 'master' even if it was only temporary.

"Okay, lets try again." I said, pulling my helmet on with a sigh. Dad's strategy was to start at an unexpected time, it could start up in the next 10 seconds or the next 10 minutes. It was my job to be ready for each blast until it was seen fit that I stop. I attempted to clear my mind, but over the last few weeks I had been back, things have felt... strange... I really couldn't place it. But if I was going to fulfill my destiny, I gotta focus.

So I finally cleared my mind completely, no siblings, no crew, no Luke, just me and the force. Time stood still for a moment, it was telling me. Now!

I didn't even attempt to open my eyes, I knew it would only slow me down. With each new blast another joined it. Soon enough, I felt bombarded once again, but instead of giving up I continued. And I'm proud to say, I didn't get hit even once. When the training droid had finished it's command it powered back down. And with a triumphant smile I pulled of my helmet tossing it to the side, Dad had a proud smile settled upon his face, holding up his hand wanting a high-five. I gladly gave him one and laughed.

"I can't believe I did it!" I shouted in glee, Dad just smiled and patted me on the back.

"I knew you could do it. I never doubted you for a minute." I could sense the pride from him, and that made me feel a lot more confident.

"So.. is that it for today?" I asked

"Nope."

"No?"
