America's POV-

You know I'd fall apart without you
I don't know how you do what you do

"Happy birthday, my dear," Maxon whispers right into my ear.
I giggle. I love waking up to Maxon sleeping next to me.

Cause everything that don't make sense about me
Makes sense when I'm with you

I turn to face him and say, "Why can't we just stay right here until my party?"
He chuckles. "We are the king and queen. We have to get up and lead our kingdom," he says.
"They can live without us for a day, can't they?" I ask.

Like everything that's green, girl, I need you
But its more than one and one makes two

"No, dear, they can't," Maxon says while smiling down at me.
"Just thought I could try," I say to him.

Put aside the math and the logic of it

I slip out of bed and walk to Mary, who already has a bath ready. "You know me so well," I tell her.
She smiles and helps me out of my pajamas.

After I get out of the bath and get dressed, I head back to my room. Maxon must have gotten ready quicker because he wasn't here.

I go to the throne room and see that nobody is in there. I start to panic a little as I see that nobody is in the castle.

"Maxon? Maxon?" I yell, running.
"America? I'm right here," Maxon says, emerging from a doorway.

I run to him and say, "I have been looking all over for you. I couldn't find anyone so I thought something was happening."
"I'm fine, my dear," he says and grabs my hand.

He pulls me into the room he came out of. "Happy birthday!" People yell.
"Happy birthday, my dear," Maxon whispers in my ear.

I smile as May rushes up to me. "Happy birthday Ames!" she says and gives me a tight hug.
Aspen comes limping up here with Lucy by his side and says, "Happy birthday."
"Thanks guys," I say.

"America, I couldn't think what type of birthday cake you wanted so I decided to make the kitchen staff make strawberry tarts," Maxon tells me, pulling me toward the table with the food.
"Aw Maxon," I say. "You didn't have to do any of this."

"Yes I did. I had to do it to the perfect wife a man could ever have," he says.
"Thanks," I tell him. "Thanks for all of this. All of your love."
He smiles at me. Marlee comes towards me and says, "Happy birthday!"

"Thank you!" I tell her.
"Everyone, be quiet please!" Maxon says. Everyone stops talking and he continues, "I invited all of you guys for the sweetest, most prettiest persons birthday today!"
"Maxon," I tell him. "You are the sweet one!"

He smiles and I smile back. "You want to open your presents now?" he asks me.
I nod. He hands me one from May. I open it and see a pair of gold earrings. "Thanks May!" I say.
Soon I open everyone's gift except for Maxon's. "Here you go, my dear," he says and hands me his gift.
I open it and see a collage. A collage of Maxon and I. "Maxon!" I cry. "Thank you so much!"
He smiles at me. "I love you!" I tell him.
"And I'll always love you," he says.
