Jinyoung looked at him, mortified. His eyes darted back and forth from the book and Mark's face, purely in awe.

"Yah, where did you get that black sketchbook?" He asks, crossing his arms over his chest.

Mark sits up from his laptop, "Oh, that. I found it," he says, his eyes not leaving his computer screen.

"It's mine," Jinyoung says, gritting his teeth. "I've been looking for it everywhere! Who are you to just go around stealing people's personal belongings?!" Jinyoung says, his face turning slightly red.

Mark looks up, cocking an eyebrow. "Yah, calm the hell down. It's not like like I was going to take it,"

"You clearly took it," Jinyoung says, pointing his hand to Mark's bag. "It's right there!"

"Would you rather me or some stranger take it?" Mark says, propping his feet up on the top bunk.

"You are some stranger!" Jinyoung says, practically boiling at this point.

"I'm your roommate, now." Mark says, rolling his eyes. "Hey, at least you got it back, stop whining." He says, pulling the sketchbook out of his bag and extending it down for Jinyoung to take.

"I'm not whining!" Jinyoung says, scoffing and snatching the book back. He flips through it, making sure all of his pages and drawings were there.

He sat it on his desk, letting out an angry groan.

"You're drawings are really good," Mark says, making Jinyoung look back at him again.

Jinyoung just looks at him, scoffing. "Whatever." He says, turning back to the book and starting to draw again.

He eventually finished a drawing he had been working on before, giving the last bit of color and details before he called it finished.

A drawing of one of his oldest friends, Jaebum. He had many sketches of Jaebum, since they had been friends for so long.

"Woah," he hears a voice say, startling him and making him drop his pencil. He looks to his right, seeing Mark standing over him.

"What are you doing?!" Jinyoung says, leaning down to pick up his pencil.

"Your drawing is really cool." Mark says, taking his hat off and fluffing his hair.

"How long have you been standing there?" Jinyoung says, biting his lip.

"A while," Mark says, shrugging. "Seems like there's nothing else better to do in this room but sit in silence and watch you draw."

Jinyoung felt his cheeks his heat up.

Was his room really that boring?

"I think my room is pretty great," Jinyoung says, scoffing.

"It's our room, now." Mark says, pulling himself back onto the top bunk.

"You must major in stupidity..." Jinyoung mumbles, going back to his drawing.

"Excuse me?" Mark says, smirking. "I'll have you know, I graduated valedictorian of my high school class."

Jinyoung gulps. Not even he had graduated valedictorian, even though he thought he was pretty smart.

"Then if you aren't having fun here, go and change your damn– I mean, sorry– c-change your roommate." Jinyoung says, loosing his newfound confidence halfway through.

"Nah," Mark says, grinning. "I think I'll stay here."

Jinyoung could just feel the fire burning in his stomach.
