Running Low (Part 2)

Due to public demand, I present to you the second part of Running Low.

Shawn's pov

I entered the plane and I can't believe that I just broke up with Y/N. But of course if I love her, and I just just want the best for her. I want her to be happy. I don't want her being stuck with me, the guy who can't have any spare time for his own girlfriend.

I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. It's gonna be really hard for me to let go, but it's for her good.

Y/N's POV

"What did I do wrong? What did he do wrong? What did we do wrong? Was our love wrong? Nothing is wrong. But why is this happening? Is this an incident? Or just coincidence? I can't see any flaw in our relationship." I said.

"Neither of you did something wrong. Nor your love was wrong. None is wrong. This is not an incident nor incidental, my brother must have thought about this for a while. There's not a single flaw in your relationship." Aaliyah answered.

"Then why? Why did he leave me? Am I too ugly? Am I not good enough? Not tall enough? Not bright enough? Am I an embarrassment? I am not cheating on him or whatsoever. What if he found someone else?" I sighed.

"No one knows. You're not ugly. You're more than good. Height doesn't matter. You're the brightest person I know. Nor you're an embarrassment. I know you're telling the truth, but trust my brother he won't do that to you." Aaliyah placed a hand on my shoulder.

"But why? Did I embarrass him in public? Have a rumor spreading all over town? Not as beautiful as the girls in the magazine? Was I not a good singer? What did I do?" I stared blankly.

"You didn't do anything to embarrass him in public. You didn't start any rumor. You're way more prettier than those models. And you're voice is the most angelic ever. You did nothing at all." She smiled. "Y/N, you are flawless. And I'm sure that my brother left you for something reasonable. Probably for a good thing. Maybe your love was right, but it just happened at the wrong time."

"If he left me let it be. If our love was really right, destiny will find a way for the two of us to go back together again." I stated.

I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. It's gonna be hard for me to let go, but it's for his good.

It's been a whole year since my break up with Shawn occured. He is now bigger than ever. More people know who he is and he is topping the charts all the time. Despite the fame and all, he is still there for his family and friends whom he left from his hometown. But now I know why he broke up with me.

I just finished getting ready. For my date. My first date for my very new relationship. I slipped my shoes on and went out.

"So Y/N, shall we?" He asked offering his arm.

"Yes Shawn, we may." I said taking the the offer.
