Best Christmas Gift Ever

"Y/N, honey! We need to go to the Mendes' Place now." My mom said as I finished spraying my perfume on.

"Okay mom just a sec." I said wearing my boots on.

I got my purse and went out of my room. I walked down the stairs and I was just so excited to give my gift to Shawn because I'm pretty sure that he will like it.

"So shall we mom?" I smiled.

We both went out knowing that dad was already waiting for us inside our car. As mom locked the door I already started sprinting to the car.

When mom already hopped in, dad started to drive to Shawn's place. I am seriously excited, well probably not just for the gift but maybe also because it's my first time to celebrate Christmas with my best friend aka my crush at the same time.

"We're here!" Dad announced.

We all went down and walked towards the porch. I rang their doorbell and Aaliyah answered.

We both hugged each other as my parents went inside. After a few seconds we let go and closed the door.

"Where is Shawn." I asked.

"He is at his room." She replied.

"Thanks." I said rushing up their stairs.

I was already at the front of his door when I heard him talking to someone.

"But I don't know Cam, how will I ask Y/N out? — Well you've got a point tho. Anyways thank you and Merry Christmas!" He ended.

Me?! Wait. He wants to ask me out? What?! Well I don't know. It's kinda weird. I'm actually quite excited and nervous at the same time. I just decided to go in his room

"Hey!" I said acting normal.

"Hi!" He said standing up.

All of a sudden, unexpectedly, he kissed me. Wow.

It was like New Year in Times Square inside my stomach. I felt like everything was just an imagination. I didn't know what to do. I was just there frozen by the moment.

"I'm sorry Y/N. I guess I was just really carried away. I understand if you want to end our friendship anymore because your not feeling the same way I do." He said when he detached his lips from mine sitting on his bed.

"You know what Shawn..." I said sitting beside him.

"What?" He asked.

I didn't say a single word. I didn't wait a single second. All I did was crash my lips to his and both our lips moved in sync as if they were meant to be kissed by each other.

We both let go.

"No friendship will end." I smiled.

He simply grinned. "Why do you always give me the best gifts ever?" He asked.

"What?" I asked chuckling.

"I mean, if you were other girls you would've probably already ended our friendship or just not end it because of my fame." He said.

"I am your best friend Shawn and I like you too. Plus I don't like you just because of your fame. I like you because of who you are." I smiled.

"Anyways, I know this isn't romantic like in the movies but, can you please be my girlfriend?" He asked.

My eyes widened. "Yes!" I exclaimed.

We both hugged each other and kissed each other again. Best gift ever!

Which also reminds me, I forgot my gift for him.
