Decorating the Tree

Shawn finally finished putting the tree up. My family didn't really get the real tree for this year, we wanted to save up so we just got the fake one. Now Shawn is here to help me decorate it.

I entered our living room with some boxes full of Christmas balls and ornaments. For this year's theme, and like as always it's gold.

"Y/N, aren't you guys gonna try to find or like change your theme?" He walked towards me looking at the box. "Ever since I started to date you or ever since I first went here for the Holidays your tree was always gold."

"Then guess what, it's a family tradition." I placed the box down and plopped down to the sofa. "Ever since I was a newborn baby the theme of our Christmas tree has always been gold. I myself would not want to break it."

"Okay whatever." He replied. "Now get your lazy ass of that sofa and start moving!" He chuckled.

"Alright." I said standing up from my really really comfy position.

While hanging up the ornaments we also started to sing different Christmas songs. It was all really fun and amazing. We then started to wrap the lights around it. Finally, putting the star on top.

To be honest I hate putting the star because since I'm kinda small for our seven foot tree. I would always need to use a ladder or if none get a table and use of for me to reach the top.

Suddenly I Shawn carried me and I placed the star. He gently placed me down.

I looked at the tree and I'm quite proud of we both did. It was really amazing. And also because of this tree, I had time to bond with my boyfriend.
