It was valentine's day and I was all alone at home, Travis had gone to work as it was really urgent,he said that he would be back late but he would bring chinese take-out and we would watch a rom-com.
I looked at the clock for the 50th time that hour it was almost 11pm a nd Travis wasnt home yet.

I picked up my phone to call him when the doorbell rang,I ran to the door and there stood my Travis,he has changed over the years he has grown tall and got a nice physiec,holding a bouquet of flowers and a a bag of chinese take-out in his other hand and a side smile adorned his face.
"Happy Valentines Day, Katie-kat" he says hands me the flowers and I give him a kiss.

I take the bags of food from his hand and go and place it on the middle table near the sofa. I open the chinese take-out and delious smell spreads through the room

Travis changes while i browse netflix for a rom-com. Travis walks in wearing a nike t-shirt and his shorts.
He joins me on the sofa and pulls me close,i grab mine and his take-out and cuddle closer towards him and play '10 things I hate about you'.

After we finished eating we were cuddling,when i reached out to get a fortune cookie,Travis tensed up and took it from my hands and said,"This is mine and this is yours" and hands me the other fortune cookie,I look at him weirdly and raise my eyebrows,he smiles goofily back.
I break open the cookie,Travis turns towards me. Inside the cookie there was a ring and written on the paper was,

'will you marry me?' written with black font. I look at Travis his eyes filled with different emotions scared,love,anticipation.
After me staring at the chit for a few seconds,Travis says,"so? Its fine if you say no,i was stupid to do th-" before he could complete his sentence,I kissed him and he melted into the kiss.
"Yes,YES my stupid Travis" i say as we break apart, a huge smile appears on his face and he kisses me again this time its me who is melting into the kiss.
