~Projects and Assaults~

Kylie's POV

It was an extremely windy day today. I glanced out the window and zoned off. All I heard was the teacher say "project" and "paired up". I turned back to her and listened again.

"So it's due on Friday. I'll be pairing you up, so don't look around for a partner."

I sighed. I hated projects. Not many Uni teachers assigned paired projects. Only Mrs. Williams.

"So Callie and Jake." I listened as she named off pairs.

"Kylie and Kole." Shit. I turned to see Kole already looking at me. A smirk played on his face.

I hated Kole. He's good looking, don't get me wrong. But he's so.... dark. His black hair covered one eye of his. He was tall, easily towering over me. I turned back to Mrs. Williams to cut the eye language with him.

"So." I looked up to see Kole leaning against my desk.

I finished packing my stuff and walked past him.

"So you wanna come to my house to work on the project? We could probably finish it." He smiled a small smile.

"Uhm..." I looked around. "Sure." I smiled.

"Kay. I'll drive you then?" He flicked his hair, exposing his left eye.

"Sure." I followed him out of the class.

We were driving through parts of the town I've never seen before. I was taking summer classes for college credit, since I'd been gone from Uni since we left. I didn't recognize any of this area though. And I've lived here since I was born.

We turned right on a street named Vineyard lane. He pulled into a driveway to a nice house. It wasn't huge, but it looked presentable and cozy.

I followed him to the door, waiting for him to unlock it. He stepped inside and stepped aside for me to go in.

I looked around. It was a nice house. It was cozy and had nice furniture lain around. There were pictures of Kole and some people all around the house.

"Uh, you can make yourself at home. I'll be back." He ran upstairs.

I sat down on a small love seat and took out my folder and laptop for the project.

When he came back downstairs, he was wearing a different shirt and jeans.

"Sorry. So wanna start?"

"Sure." I smiled.

He searched the info and I wrote everything down. We finished pretty quick, actually.

"So I'll see you tomorrow then." I stood to leave.

"Yeah." He walked me to the door.

I turned the door nob and he slammed the door shut. I gasped and blinked a few times, not wanting to move. He grabbed my wrist and spun me around. I looked into his eyes, terrified. His eyes were a dark brown now. He smirked at me.

"Why don't you stay a little bit longer?" He ran a finger along my jaw bone.

I squirmed. "Let go of me, Kole."

He gripped my wrist harder. "Don't make this worse than it needs to be." His jaw clenched.

I stayed still.

He ran his hand along my leg, making its way up.

I pulled to try to make him stop but he dug his nails into my leg, making me yelp.

"Stop!" I squeezed my eyes shut.

He chuckled.

I kneed him in between his skinny jeans. He cursed, loosening his grip a bit. I took the chance and kicked his leg as hard as possible, just in case the kneeing wasn't enough. He let go of me and gripped his leg.

I opened to door and ran as fast as I could. I had no idea where to go, but I knew how to get back to the main road from here. Thank god I was paying attention when we were driving. I heard his heavy footsteps behind me, he was gaining on me. I tried to pick up my pace as much as possible. I didn't hear footsteps behind me anymore, but I carried on running, I wasn't chancing it. I found a gas station and stepped in. I looked through the windows to see if he was anywhere near, I didn't see him. I called the first number in my call log, Ale.

Okay, sorry I haven't posted in a while. Someone told me to add more drama, so there ya go. Haha. Another thing, I've been thinking to stop this story and make another. Not another continuation, a whole new story. But I need opinions. I wanna continue this but it got less reads than Loving You, so I'm assuming its not as good? But if you have an idea or whatever, you can kik me. :)

SO I'm super excited because we're seeing the boys Wednesday! And maybe Tuesday too if everything works out. :D

I also wanted to say a quick R.I.P to three people who were angels. Cory, of course. He seemed like such an amazing guy and it's such a shame he's gone. Talia, you were an angel sent straight from heaven. You were so strong with Cancer and you were so beautiful. And last, but not least, Kidd Kraddick. He was an inspiration and seemed like a great guy as well. All of you will be missed, and I'm sorry to the friends and family.
