You trailed him from atop buildings, leaping or scaling where it was needed. On accident, while you were running the roofing slipped from under you causing you to lose your balance. Before you could fall off of the side of the building you felt two strong arms wrap around your waist and pull you back up onto the rooftop.

"I was fine without your help," You growled before moving past him. The last thing you wanted to see was his face at that moment.

"You didn't look 'fine' to me," He said while mimicking your accent. You rolled your eyes and cursed his name under your breath.

"Do not mock me, boy." You growled, regaining your balance. You walked over to the edge, thankful to see that your target was busy speaking to someone. You watched and listened to the conversation while Jacob crouched down beside you. You hadn't realized that your hood had fallen off of your head until a couple strands of your hair had fallen into your face. He reached over and placed it behind your ear, moving it out of your way. You wordlessly slipped your hood back on and continued to observe your target without acknowledging what he'd done.

You sat there, listening to the two blighters carry on about their new plans with hidden disgust. Most of what they spoke was boring until they both mentioned a name that caught your attention, and then the two began walking.

"That damned prick! I curse the day that he was born!"

'I hear ya.' You agreed mentally, continuing your eavesdrop.

"That bastard pushed me for no bloody reason. It's not my fault that he got in trouble with those damn assassins."

With that, you started to scale down the building to follow them on foot.
