Chapter 22

Ciel's P.O.V

Sebastian was finally able to get into a position where he could knock Elizabeth out. He picks her up and brings her to me. "Master, what are we to do with her?"

"For the time being, she can not return home. Now that she is an angel. Not to mention we have to rescue Lux. Alois, Are you fine with having Elizabeth as a guest at your manor?"

"She just tried to kill us!" He whines.

"She was delusional because of Ash. With Ash gone, she should come to her senses."

"Fine." He pouts. Sebastian hands her to Claude and Alois and Claude walk away.

"Master, where should we start?"

"Near this area. He could not have gone far because Lux had damaged his wings."

"Very well the, young master."

Lux's P.O.V

I wake up to a horrible pain in my stomach. I try to move my arms and find them strapped down, same with my legs. A music box begins to play.

"And so I think to myself, 'she is much too pretty for any sort of ore that is found in the filthy ground. So why not use perfectly cut and polished crystals and the smoothest of porcelain?' " And the voice begins to sing.

'That's Drocell! Ash, or Angela, must have reanimated him or something.' I don't really know how it was done. I've done necromancy a few times, and last time it ended up with the four of us fighting zombies on the roof.

Footsteps echo through the room. "That is right. She is much too pretty and pure for gold or silver. She must be made of the smoothest of porcelain. And only the prettiest of crystals can be used for her." Angela's voice bounces off the cinder walls.

She walks over to me. "You will be the prettiest of my dolls. Your soul will remain pure forever and that filthy demon will not be able to taint you." I feel something prick my neck.

"Don't worry, because you won't' feel a thing." And my vision becomes black.

Taika's P.O.V

I pace around the main hall waiting for them to return. I was worried about Ciel and Lux. I know Sebastian can handle himself and I can care less about Alois and Claude.

The door creaks open, letting the morning sunlight pour in. But Sebastian and Ciel are the only ones who enter. "Where's Lux?"

Sebastian looks down in shame and Ciel shakes his head. Ciel walks over to me and wraps his arms around me while I just cry into his shoulder. "I'm sorry, Taika."

After a while, I stop crying and the two of us walk to Ciel's study while Sebastian goes to bring Kim and NIna to the study. A few minutes after we arrive, the door opens to reveal the three of them.

Ciel begins to explain what happened last night and why Lux isn't with them. "Ash? But I thought you killed him. You did kill him, didn't you, Sebastian?" I ask, panicking.

"I had thought so, too." He looks up to make eye contact with me, then his gaze returns to the floor. 'I wonder, does he like Lux? Whatever, I ship it!'

"And Elizabeth was behind the killings and is now and angel?"

"She became delusional with that angel around her. But only Ash had gotten anything out of it." Ciel looks away.

I look for a reaction from Nina and Kim only to find that they're no longer there. 'What could they possibly be doing that's more important?'

Kim's P.O.V

I had asked the creatures of the forest for assistance in finding Lux. 'We won't be able to find her until it's too late if Sebastian couldn't find her.

"Are you sure this'll work?" Nina asks me for the millionth time.

"No, but it beats sitting around doing nothing."

Sebastian, Ciel, and Taika approach us. I sit in the grass, tired of standing. That is, until I hear the roar of a chainsaw behind us. We all scramble to dodge the attack. The same dense red-head from before is standing where I was once sitting.

"Look here!" I shout at him. "You could've killed us!" I wave my wand and my eyes glow. Vines sprout from the ground and wrap around him. Nina takes his chainsaw.

"BASSY!!! Wait, where's the fourth one?" He's referring to Lux.

"We don't know."

"So my source was wrong."

"What do you mean, Grell?" Sebastian arms himself with... silverware? 'Wait, what sort of anime is this? Claude got an awesome looking sword and Sebastian has silverware?'

"We were receiving information that odd activity was happening. I guess I was off." I release the vines and he drops to the ground.

"Show us." I demand. Nina hands him his chainsaw. Grell leads the way and we all follow.

'Lux, please don't let us be too late.'
