AN this needs so major edits, please forgive the bad spelling and crammed, its gets much much better around the 3rd and 4th chapter. Sorry about the cring worthy stuff in the beginning.

A dark night in Gotham City outside the path to Wayne Manor. It's fall, leaves are on the ground, and the wind is in the trees. The only disturbance to the nature is something lost and utterly defeated.

"Daddy, Daddy where are you?"

A voice cried out in the darkness.

"Daddy I'm scared. Where are you Daddy?"

A voice from a girl far too young to be like this.

"Daddy, Daddy..." mumbling she fell to the ground by the gates on the side of the unbeaten road. Clutching a stuffed cat like her life depends on it she falls to her side and sleeps then and there.

*Later*

The Batmobile came up to the remotely opening gates of the Manor .

"What on earth?" He says almost silently.

Batman stops the car, gets out and, on the defensive (Joker was suppose to do something tonight, could he have finally found out who the Batman is) call to the form huddled against the wall.

"Who are you?" he demanded.

His call fell on deaf ears because she could not hear him. The girl was asleep, freezing cold, and had all but given up on the one last chance to escape.

"Last chance, WHO ARE YOU!!" He didn't like the thing outside of his gate.

The form moved woken just the slightest bit.

"Daddy." The work was uttered barely audible.

Batman stopped cold.

No, it couldn't be. He thought to himself. There is no way she could be here, she's suppose to be dead not by my gate.

He dropped his defensive stance and ran to the form, picked it up, and turned the head to see the face behind the waded mat of dark midnight black hair.

"Karra." He breathed out to the silence.

Stay Whelmed :)
